Just wait until government takes over your health care. What could go wrong?

Just wait until it hits the EBT cards. The EBT holders do their shopping the last night of the month and loiter with full baskets until midnight when the EBT card has funds on the first of the month. It's going to be a riot if the cards aren't funded. Imagine a riot in every Walmart at midnight. That might be next Tuesday night. Start of the federal fiscal year and first night of the month. Plan accordingly.

Did the computer cut them off when their benefits expired? Because as we’ve all been told, the economy is going great and unemployment is not a problem.

The backlog began over Labor Day weekend, when an internal computer upgrade mistakenly and automatically marked some accounts with a stop-pay flag, Levy said.Any "upgrade" etc. is supposed to be thoroughly tested before implementing. I remember having to spend weekends debugging, or at least resetting a program back to its original state because project leader let the change go through untested because "it was minor".

Californians should expect stuff like this on a regular basis from here on out. Living there is going to be somewhat like living in Greece.
Except that anytime they complain too much, just tell them to pack up and leave.

Whatever you may think of corporations and how they treat their customers, at least you aren’t forced to do business with them like you are with the government. I can refuse to give my money, time or attention to any company that offends me or provides poor service. I don’t have that choice when it comes to a government agency.
