Lipstick Lindsay really has his panties in a bunch because we didn't bomb Syria, and now he wants to take things to the next level.

While there is very little to agree with Linda on, I would support striking Iran rather than fighting a proxy war in Syria where we have no strategic interest. Iran must not have the bomb and it make no sense to fight their surrogates.

He got a big old donation from some hawks and needs to implement his “marching orders”.

That's exactly what's going on. We, the people, expressed ourselves, through Congress, and declared we didn't want a war with Syria. This angered Linda Graham and his defense industry backers, and he's decided we MUST go to war with somebody.

I digress but I wrote about this years ago. Those underground facilities are just post holes and root cellars if they don’t have large quantities of electricity. Since they love the twelfth century so much the fastest way for them to get there would be to take out their electric generation. No electric-—no nuclear program-—nothing. Then we could watch them scramble and see what is really important to them.

We would not be going to war with Iran to keep them from getting the bomb, we would be going to war because Linda Graham's backers in the defense industry weren't happy we didn't spend billions going to war with Syria.

he’s in trouble in the next primary he faces and he’s trying to score “bonus” points as if to say “my policy on Iran is bigger than yours” - for what, has Iran attacked the U.S.???

What is motivating him and others like McCain? Is there money involved somehow?

I am beginning to wonder. McCain was willing to get us into it with Russia over Georgia (and Georgia was the bad guy)!

When you hear these guys and their dwindling neocon supporters saying we need to bomb Syria so we will be respected / feared, you're hearing insanity. Grownups can't possibly think that. Are these guys subject to serious security clearances?

The problem again is the people of SC. 42 percent back him no matter what, and that’s a majority in SC because he can easily convince the extra 9 percent to come aboard.

1. The reason ohaha has not taken on Syria is because he has come down on the side of Iran ever since he stepped foot in office, much to the chagrine of the saudis, whereas mccain and graham fall on the side of the saudis. ohaha has been between a rock and a hard place trying to walk the fine line between the two, but it ain’t working.

2. gw was a saudi guy and ohaha has given Iraq to iran as well as afghanistan.

Well, you know?! I’ve been wondering the same thing. Are they THAT drunk with love of power and money that they’d turn Hanoi Jane on us? Or is it more than that? It’ll come out one day, i suppose.

For the record, Zero’s foreign policy has been atrocious, but GW gave Iraq to Iran by deposing the one man who could stand up to it, Saddam Hussein. Once he was gone, the Shiite majority took over, and we know where their loyalties lie. As for Afghanistan, it will forever be no man’s land, and if the Shiite Persians try running the show there, well, good luck with that. And sorry, but W didn’t do a whole lot to stop nuke development in either Iran or North Korea.
