Texas Gov. Rick Perry, visiting Maryland to woo businesses to relocate to the Lone Star State, will also meet Wednesday with a group of Maryland Republicans, GOP Chairwoman Diana Waterman told The Washington Times.
Mr. Perry, a contender for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination who is expected to have another go at it 2016, has said he won't seek a fourth term as governor. But he has been building his national image by polishing his image as a salesman for his state on the national level.
His meetings with business representatives in Maryland are supposed to be hush-hush, since he promised the corporate and business chiefs no publicity in a state where Democrats controls the governorship, the state legislature and both U.S. Senate seats.

The idiot hasn't got a prayer, but he can do a lot of damage.
I like it when Perry does this because it pisses off the liberal media and power structure off so bad.
I live in Maryland with the other 3 conservatives.
Perry is the Worst GOP candidate in history and we have had quite a few bad ones.
I was pumped for him, then he just crashed and burned. He shouldn’t even try, the media and his own short coming has rendered him unelectable.
Perry’s sharp, hard to tell, I’d definitely vote for him.
Willard... Juan... worse.
Rats can fight dirty; no wonder businesses are afraid.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
