Are y’all aware that “ebt accepted” is now posted on gas pumps?
Nice, eh?
Blacks and those who are mired in poverty need to learn from the asians who come here with absolutely nothing. They pool their money and open a business. (and they do not spend money on frivolous things like $300 sneakers or iPods)
If blacks could learn from Asians, Africa would be rich
It will get worse as more people start working part-time thanks to Obamacare.
Hire people in America.
Buy things made in America.
Stop buying imports. Buy American.
Not as easy as that. Of course, you have to be working to buy such products. And then the more a US business succeeds, the harder the regulatory and tax load pushes down on it. And thanks to that, the larger businesses won’t be hiring people. Liberal poison pill.
California is about to raise its minimum wage to $10/hr. That will only widen the unemployment gap.
Everything is going according to Comrade Obama and the Commissariate’s plan.
Uh, no shinola sherlock. Income is generally related to productivity and employers generally want to hire those that can be the most productive.
The lowest income folk do not posess the skills necessary to compete with others that have very marketable (productive) skills. Therefore, they are not as employable, resulting in more unemployment. My advice, quit bitching and go get a marketable skill. Anyone discussing an “employment gap” is likely claiming that some are “luckier than others.”
Clearly, some races can’t handle freedom.
You don't create more jobs by making existing ones (and the new ones) more expensive. Practically every major initiative by this administrative has done exactly that.
Bush's fault!
so I’m paying for other peoples gas?!
greeaaat
I’m sure glad that the gap hs nothing to do with ILLEGALS, welfare whores who can’t keep their legs together or dropouts with no education. /s
The Stormfronters agree with you.
When the government offers more and more incentives to remain in this bracket, more people will make the choice to stay there.
50% increas in minimum wage == 50% raise in union wages
higher wages equate to fewer people employed within the same overall labor costs
fewer people employed... higher unemployment
of course, those that are employed have more to spend... increasing prices
inflation on the way. good times.
how’s that change working for ya?
“Are yall aware that ebt accepted is now posted on gas pumps”
Well, SOMEBODY’s got to pay to keep gas in those Escalades and BMWs.
I know a couple of people that did that. They studied engineering and software. Came out of good schools and cannot get a jobe because they did not have work experience. Come out of college and told they did not have work experience in their field, so the corporations hired a foreign tech worker because he had several years of experience in his homeland and willing to work cheaper then an American college grad. Experience and 1/3 less salary. Now the US wants to bring in more H-1B workers. I actually had a freeper who loves that because he made it and now is the manager in charge of hiring. He rants how American college grads lack experience, and skills. I actually blogged him and asked when he came out of college many years ago, was he hired for his vast working experience in the tech area he studied and grad. If employers had that attitude 20 years ago, would he be a manager today?
Talked to a China expert once. Yes they have no political freedom but their leaders are wary of high unemployment because they do fear popular revolt caused by it. China has a history where dynasties fell to economic hardship. The Chinese Communist atleast understand this. The American gov and corporations do not seem to care. Guess they never experience a popular revolt and assume the American population can take the abuse of “creative destruction”. There is always a first time for every nation.
