Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri has told the Islamist militants who are some of Syria's toughest opposition forces to avoid alliances with other rebel fighters backed by Gulf Arab states and the West.

His comment reflects a deepening rift between groups of the Western- and Arab-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) and guerrillas sympathetic to Zawahri's ultra hardline network, which seeks to wage a transnational armed campaign against the West

How would you like to be fighting beside a guy who might kill you because you’re not sufficiently Islamic? Not only that, but he’d be a hero for doing it. I’d be inclined to go back to my village and help my buddies just fortify our little corner.

Reuters report: Al Quaeda giving orders to the ‘sweet’, ‘moderate’ rebels. Putin was right, and BO is full of BS. Even Reuters sees it now.

Is this guy a slow learner or what?

Does he not realize he is setting himself up for a threat of an unbelievably small shot across the bow?

Add this to the hopper:

U.S. Officials: CIA Has Been Supplying Arms To Syrian Rebels For Weeks

[September 12 report.]

Guess he’s done something that makes Iran-Contra look like a picnic. Obama was arming al Qaada-led rebels to kill and terrorize Christians and possibly be Taliban II.

Iran-Contra is only possible when a Republican is in The White House.

When a RAT is in there, anything goes.

If Reagan had an ambassador killed who was involved in running guns from Libya, through Turkey, to Syria, he would've been removed from office within days.

And I would've supported his removal.

Muslim Brotherhood supporter gets Homeland Security promotion
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3066649/posts?page=1

“... controversial Homeland Security advisor who was recently promoted to senior fellow is a self-declared Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and Mohamed Morsi supporter. Mohamed Elibiary, who was appointed to the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council by then-Secretary Janet Napolitano in 2010, tweeted Thursday that his appointment was renewed and his position elevated:

Yeah, I hear you. But the voters out here in Realville look at things differently than Speaker Bone-head and his heir apparent, ‘Cant-or’.

just because Congress didn’t want freedom in South and Central America, that was the only technical reason why Reagan had a ‘scandal’. That’s why it didn’t go anywhere. The voters respected such a ‘scheme’. But voters DON’T respect this.

Yesterday, some “journalist” of The Palace Media, had convinced her/his/its-self that “Muslim Brotherhood” is “Islamic Jihadi Without Arms”/”Al-Qaeda Without Arms” ... and said “journalist” was trying to convince other people of that, too.

A very fine distinction, that the evidence across northern Africa, fails to prove.

If the Syrian government falls, there's just going to be another war between the fundamentalists and the secularists. Then watch the WMDs fly. Best case in my opinion is to keep Assad in power, at least for now.

I think it is fascinating to watch and see how the “free Syrian Army” works, because I am drawing parallels to what I see happening here in the US with racism, and who is organizing the black churches and criminals to hate and attack.

The organizers use the same tactics. We would be wise to note who is doing what and why.

It really is time to make a change.

“Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri “...

Where the F is this little monster? Is he in Paki or is he in Egypt? Off-gown-ee-stan?

Wherever this creep is he needs to be hunted down and exterminated.

Rivalries have been growing between the FSA and the Islamists, whose smaller but better trained and equipped forces control most of the rebel-held parts of northern Syria.

What kinds of weapons do the Islamists have, and where are they getting them?
