Rush Limbaugh's new children's book is number one on Amazon

Despite--or more likely--because of snarky reviews and comments, Rush Limbaugh's new children's book,  Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims:  Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans is in the top spot on Amazon.  .  But--and here is the kicker--it hasn't been released yet!

You read that right.  Six weeks before its planned release at the end of October, just in time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, birthday, mid term graduation and host gift giving, word of mouth pushed pre order sales up past Amazon's number two best seller, the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.  Long time Amazon favorite, Fifty Shades of Grey, dropped to number 10.

So, what is the book about?  Well, of course the title and the author's known perspective give it away.  Non fan, Traci G. Lee of MSNBC further explains.

Limbaugh added that Rush Revere focuses on the "miraculous story, the blessings of God and any number of other things that led to the founding of this country," and is intended for all ages.

"Twenty-four-year-old women who are afraid of me will be able to read this book to one of their kids someday, when they have them, without fear," he said.

In the story, Rush Revere and his talking horse Liberty travel to the deck of the Mayflower and learn about the role the pilgrims played in America's founding.

"What we do here is we combine information, education, and entertainment, which makes the learning of history fun," Limbaugh said. "So Rush Revere may someday time travel back and give King George a bunch of crap for the way he treated the early colonists and ask what the hell was he thinking."

THIS has to be burning the liberals’ britches.

“There are no customer reviews yet. - This item has not been released yet and is not eligible to be reviewed.”

Time was they would flood a to-be-released book with personal attacks and criticisms of a text they have not yet read.

word of mouth pushed pre order sales up

Word of mouth? The mouth is Rush's own. He's been talking about his new book for a week now. I've been considering buying it myself just to further piss off the commies.

My 12 year would like this book. On a side note, when she was five she couldn’t understand his name and called him Russian Bimbobah. So we call him that as a joke now.

Yours is the saddest reply so far. You point out that countless millions of us know that our children are being deliberately LIED to by the left-wing propagandists polluting the classrooms of the country.
I wonder what will happen when a student, possessing courage and true history, dares to confront a so-called “history teacher”. Probably get tossed out of school.
I confess to 78 years, but I’ll be in line to get a copy of that book. I am sure even an olde timer will learn something.

Mike Allen and I tried unsuccessfully for four years to get a children's version of our "Patriot's History of the US" published. Not one publisher would touch it. Our own publisher, Sentinel, claimed it didn't have a "children's division," but that the parent, Penguin, wasn't interested. Surprisingly, however, not ONE conservative publisher was interested in a book that now has a half-million copies in print.

I wish Rush luck, and certainly with his name it will sell no matter what the book is. But I think our version over the long haul would have been much better, esp. for the 7-8th grade crowds.

The book is perfect for kids but much too deep for liberals to understand.

Thanks! I’ve always loved English history. Then I saw the Tudors miniseries, and I never got over it, LOL.

I have kids in middle school as well. I have a question...is this book a graphic novel? Is it illustrated? Is it a ‘words-only’ book? I’m really interested, but I want to know more.

Rush had said that it’s over 200 pages of content and there are some pictures as well...but it is a text filled book. There will also be an audio book released.
