LAKE MARY, Fla. —
Channel 9 has learned police were called Monday to a domestic disturbance involving George Zimmerman and a gun at a home in Lake Mary.
Police were called to the scene on Sprucewood Road about 2:30 p.m. though no other details have been released.
Last week, Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman, filed for divorce, weeks after her husband's acquittal in the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

I disagree. I've thought from day one that Zimmerman was a bit of an idiot. An idiot who was certainly not guilty of murder, but an idiot nonetheless. This may be confirmation of the "idiot" part (we'll see as the facts come out), but does nothing to change the "certainly not guilty of murder" part.
Get away from his soon to be ex-wife and heal his emotional wounds.
We don’t even know the details. Don’t rush to judgment. We aren’t even sure from the news reports that the gun was his and not another party’s (though I think it was probably his).
I’m getting the same sick feeling I did the day Mel Gibson went out and proved that he really WAS an anti-Semitic whackjob.
Maybe George really IS just a wee bit too eager to get into a fight.
This is in the news ONLY because the left wasn’t able to put him in jail for self-defense.
If Zimmerman goes to prison, he’ll come out feet first within 6 months unless he is put into solitary confinement.

Not necessarily, depends on the details.
I’ll refrain until the facts come out, but George should not get within earshot of his ex or any of her family until things settle down. Even when 100% innocent, low profile is the rule.
We know his wife wants half of everything he’s got and everything he’s going to get. She doesn’t seem credible to me.
I think the smart money is exactly on this. Verbal arguments during an argument usually get overblown. Odds are he made no threat overt or covert and his wife is just trying to build a case for the divorce.
As a Prosecutor, seen his type before. Something wrong with this guy.
So Zimmerman will be followed till the day he dies, and the news will report every activity, even thought 99% no longer care.
I find it amusing that so many people are either sure GZ is guilty of something OR sure that he isn’t and his wife is. When nobody knows ANYTHING about what actually happened.
Zimmerman isn’t making it easy to defend him.
Back in 1997, when my wife separated from me, without cause, they confiscated my SKS and there was a restraining order. Again, this was without cause. There was no domestic violence, no screaming (by me, anyway), no threats, nothing.
I withhold all judgement until I get enough information to know what is going on. When I first heard about the zimmerman shooting, I thought he was a trigger happy cop wannabee, until I did a couple of weeks of reading of the detials.
As happened then, it is possible the press is manipulating the form of information.
I am guessing Al Sharpton needs the frequent flyer miles.
If he skates on this one he needs to Fugetahbout the heifer spouse and GTF out of Fla before he is pushed into something he cant skate on.
