You’re a 64-year-old disabled woman living alone when a woman high on drugs breaks into your home and starts attacking you. What do you do? What Obama and the Democrats want you to do is call 911 and wait patiently for the police to come and (ahem) “rescue” you, maybe in about twenty minutes or so. If you’re Mabel Fletcher, of Middletown, Ohio, you grab your Glock 9 mm and start firing. The intruder runs away and police later arrest her.
Fletcher, who got herself a concealed carry permit in June, had quite a harrowing night. Aside from being quite nearsighted, she’s had a stroke and has heart problems and diabetes. On top of this, she lives alone. Still, when her dog Benji woke her up just after midnight, she knew what to do. She grabbed her Glock and held it ready.

Many years ago I heard of a disabled little old lady who was an angel of death to burglars.
She lived in a 2nd floor apartment which had an emergency escape with a ladder. And for some reason, newly arrived transients would see that ladder and imagine burglarizing her as easy pickin’s, especially when they heard that she was bedridden.
Well, they would climb up her ladder, and enter the bathroom through its window. Then when they exited the bathroom they would be greeted with a hail of lead, to their detriment.
She kept a .38 on a nail next to her bed. And some nice police officer had wired the trigger for her so it had a very gentle pull.
After she had ventilated the burglar, she would call the police to send around a team to pick up his earthly remains. At the time I heard her story, she had killed five.

What Obama and the Democrats want you to do is call 911 and get your name in the paper the next day, while your ‘oppressed’ attacker makes off with your goods.
Just a little ‘redistribution’ of the wealth.
Makes them real mad when normal people do a little ‘redistribution’ of the justice.

One wonders if she would have been denied a permit in certain “may issue” states based upon her general health.
At any rate, I’m glad she was able to fend off the freak who attacked her.

The gnarliest lethal little old lady story I know was the police showing up to find a burglar or robber just shredded. Then they realized that there were bloody dimes all over. The little old lady used dime shotgun loads.
They don’t work as well as a regular load except at very short range, where they are just hideous in effect.
As they were picking up the pieces of his sweet, shattered dreams, the little old lady ask that after the investigation was over, if she could have the dimes back?
“Because they’re *lucky* dimes.”
