Teen admits stabbing man to death - 'had hard day' & 'wanted to kill first person he saw'

Police in Clearwater, Fla., on Thursday announced the arrest of a 16-year-old suspected of stabbing a man to death because he “had a hard day” and “just wanted to kill the first person he saw,” WFTS-TV reports.

Mychal King admitted to killing 22-year-old Jason Taylor Paul for no reason on the night of January 6, according to police. Paul was stabbed multiple times while riding his bike home from work.

Clearwater police Chief Anthony Holloway said there was no robbery and no drugs involved in the incident. “This was a very senseless crime,” he added.

Paul’s mother, Renee Langfritz, described her son’s killer as a “coward.”

“This coward, truly a coward, who would leave a young innocent man to die alone in the dark in the middle of the street, must be caught,” she said prior to King’s arrest.

Police will charge King, who reportedly has a lengthy criminal history, with first degree murder.

The confession is incomplete. He had a hard day and wanted to kill the first WHITE person he saw.

I have noticed a seeming pattern in many of these black-on-white assaults:

That makes me wonder [donning conspiracy hat] whether other influences are at work behind the scenes, influences that are telling youthful perps that the most they would probably get, if caught, is juvenile detention until they are 18.

Of course, for more serious crimes, causing death, some of those perps can be charged as adults. But, being under the age of 18, none of them face the death penalty.

Predict Prevent Protect.
That is the Clearwater Police policy?
Exactly how can they predict?
Are they fortune tellers? Tea leaf readers? Magic 8 ball users?
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen on a police department briefing wall.

Love the whole...Clearwater PD, predict, prevent, protect.

Predict?

That could be interpreted many different ways and could open up a whole new area of law enforcement.

Here, let me help. Officer newbee, did you happen to notice that Subaru with illegally tinted windows? No sir.

This motor vehicle operator should be investigated. Those who hide behind dark tented vehicle wind screens often times run illicit drugs in this area.

Step on it officer newbee...we must investigate! Remember our agency motto...Predict, Prevent, Protect.

Clearwater PD are a bunch of bullies with badges. They are absolute sharks and will pull you over for so much as looking at them the wrong way.

To be fair, they have to deal with Greenwood and MLK on the southside and the tourist traffic at the beaches on the west, but they are not the consummate professionals that, for instance, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office tends to be.

Predict Prevent Protect.

They need to proceed with caution or they will be labeled as profiling.

We know how evil profiling is from certain events by certain members of a certain religion of peace during the last decade.

“This was a very senseless crime,” he added. It’s time we have sensible muders!

Yup...I was ticketed for speeding in Clearwater for going like 6 miles over the limit...coming down off a overpass...he wrote it for 11 miles...

The cop didn't even ask to see my registration...

Damn near had the ticket already written out...just fill in my name...off my license...

Sounds reasonable. Some of us just kick back and watch a little TV after a tough day. I guess this Trayvon wannabe just had a little tougher day than most. Imagine the strain on a 16 year old. I can't even begin to.

Impulse control varies widely among humans. People who are most prone to violence, banging without a condom, screaming in appropriate situations, etc. are on the bad end of the impulse control spectrum.
