Clearwater PD are a bunch of bullies with badges. They are absolute sharks and will pull you over for so much as looking at them the wrong way.

To be fair, they have to deal with Greenwood and MLK on the southside and the tourist traffic at the beaches on the west, but they are not the consummate professionals that, for instance, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office tends to be.

Yup...I was ticketed for speeding in Clearwater for going like 6 miles over the limit...coming down off a overpass...he wrote it for 11 miles...

The cop didn't even ask to see my registration...

Damn near had the ticket already written out...just fill in my name...off my license...

Heck, I've always known the Texas Dept. of Public Safety troopers to be very professional. Several reports over the last couple of three years illustrating a whole different vision.

Body cavity searches along the roadways, trumped up probable cause for vehicle searches and so forth.

Here in the town I live, the cops are the same...speed trap, then maneuver to do searches in hopes to find something. Lord help ya if you come runnin through town round one or two am on a Friday or Saturday.

You're out that late...you must be up to something.
