Time to Put This Baby to Bed!

$25 Keeps Free Republic Alive!
Please Make Your Donation Today!
"Let's git 'er done!!"

Woo-Hoo! Going for the Green today! Time to Put This Baby to Bed! We're down to the final 5% with less than $3.5k to go!!
(We can do this!)

Your loyal support through thick and thin (and the one remaining glitch) Keeps FR Alive and is sincerely and greatly appreciated!!

As you know, Free Republic is funded solely by the donations provided by the people who love and use it. We accept no advertising or corporate sponsors. We sell no merchandise or memberships. We are not a 501c and are not subsidized by the government. It's just us independent freedom loving grassroots conservatives exercising our first amendment rights free of any political party, government or outside influences.

No subsidies. No sugar daddies. No string pullers. NO POP-UPS!!

But we need your continuing support to keep it that way and stay on the air!

So please keep those Donations coming in folks. With Obama's corrupt Marxist government pulling out all stops on the road to fundamentally transforming America from a free country to a communist state, we need FR now more than ever to keep it free!

Make it a Monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors who are kicking in an extra $10.00 for each New Monthly that signs up. So sign up for a Monthly today and get a little extra bang for your buck!! Monthly Donations are an ideal way to reliably support Free Republic.

Woo-Hoo!! There are 62 New Monthly Donors so far this FReepathon including 11 New Dollar-A-Day Donors!! Thank you ALL very much!!

FReeper I_be_tc donates $100 each quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in a $100 or more each, it would help bring the FReepathon to a successful conclusion!!

We've received an amazing 236 Donations of $100 or more so far this quarter!!! Thank you ALL very much!!

If you send in $100 or more per quarter, please send me a note and I'll add your screen name to the 300 Club Roster!!

Whether your Donation is $5, $10, $20, $25, $50 or $100 or more, it will help Keep FR Alive and will be sincerely and truly appreciated!!

Your $25 Keeps FR ALIVE!!

Yeah, one of the VA docs suggested that awhile back and was going to look into it. They don’t provide it at the VA but thought our local community hospital might. He never brought it up again. I may have to suggest it to my new doc.

Speaking of silver, have you ever tried Silverlon bandages?

They are good for attacking infections, and are reuseable after washing.

Red, I’ve been doing so well with this, I am now under the A1C required for meds. I am never going to be CURED of type II, but I *am* putting it in remission. Thanks for your concerned thoughts....

I’ll go back to my doctor for my dang bronchitis, and I’ll copy your words, to see if he can tell me anything at all that can possibly be of help.

Pop all the pain pills you can possibly endure without damaging your very fine liver. Eating red beets and garlic helps keep the liver running nicely. Not sure about the natural sugar in the red beets for your diabetes. I try to eat a 1/2 can of red beets and 5 cloves of roasted garlic every day.

Prayers and more prayers for you, dearest Jim, while all of us search for another cure. There has to be one out there.

Lord, hear our prayers.

Thank you very much. And I just happen to love red beets.

I think the wounds and skin problems are one thing, but the solution has to be to get blood flowing again and I think they usually do that via surgery. But the doc says I’m not a good candidate for surgery. They were even afraid my stump wouldn’t heal but it did. It was an above the knee amputation, so guess it was above the bad vein problem. They did put in stints a few years ago, but they didn’t help. I’ve also been taking some pills that are supposed to help the circulation, but haven’t seen any improvement. Also, the nitro treatments may have helped, but I developed a skin reaction to that after a year or so of daily treatments so they told me to stop. I’ll ask about that again.

Will be praying for you too, dearest onyx.

Great! I love red beets, too and also roasted garlic, although I can and do eat garlic once it's out of its hard outer clove.

OKay, thanks very much for elaborating more ... we are looking something to effect "more circulation!"

God bless you, Jim. Thank you so much for your prayers. I'll be A-OK. CIPRO will cure my present ailment. I wish your cure was so easy.

We must find one, in addition to prayer.
XOXOXO

That’s great about the A1C. Mine doesn’t match my blood sugar readings and it should reflect that. It is puzzling and doesn’t make sense.
My lowest sugar count is around 105 with meds and I’m doing well. I’ve always had high sugar and wasn’t diagnosed until the bar was lowered to 142 years ago.

Oops, accidentally used the wrong word Not emaciated it’s macerated. “Maceration is defined as the softening and breaking down of skin resulting from prolonged exposure to moisture.”

Onyx and Jim,

Lyrica works well for me although it is expensive, about $200 a month with my insurance. It is a synthetic drug. Not based on Codine, Morphine, etc. (I think)
It works for both arthritis and diabetic nerve pain. Better then any other so far for me.
You both have my prayers for a healthy recovery.
