Thank you so much, tomkat!!!
Thank you so much and AMEN, sweetest dayglored.
We truly believe in prayer’s power.
Lord, hear our prayers.
Thank you so much, Exit148!
FReepers like you are the greatest!
Thank you so much for your fabulous, loyal support and participation!!!!
Will be praying for you, sir. May the Lord heal you...in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
I'm sending $20 to you, Jim, for someone to go to your favorite restaurant (I know you use all my donations for this extravagant restaurant), Olive Garden, to get you a huge amount of “Never Ending Pasta Bowl” with whatever sauce you want, and soup, salad, breadsticks as the starter, and wine, yes, wine, and bring it to you to eat while your crummy leg is propped up. The Olive Garden menu is on the web to see all the sauces for your pasta.
I'd send narcotics for the pain but I'd get arrested.
I will pray for resolution to the leg problem, whatever is best for your health.
Enjoy your Olive Garden extravaganza.
Marcella Derrick, Ph.D. (Because I have a Ph.D., I know Olive Garden will help your leg.)
Amen.
Thank you so much, sweetest pal.
I’m praying earnestly for our beloved Jim!
Sweet, thoughtful and always caring you, dearest Marcella!
You’re most welcome to come to our FReepathon thread any and all of the time!
ALL FReepers ARE!
Thank you so much!
I’ll let Jim reply to you.
I need to go back to bed for a while. I have severe bronchitis. I’m trying to sleep it off taking powerful antibiotics...lol.
Me, too, dearest Alamo-Girl.
Lord, hear our prayers.
I can hardly wait!!! *boop* Need me a Laz hug!
It’s my pleasure and honor, friend!
(hugs)
Bump.
Jim, I know that I’ve said this before, you can improve your circulation throughout your body with Capsaisin.
Either get used to eating lots of hot peppers, or make a tincture by grinding up hot pepers like Habanero, and soak them in cheap vodka. The longer they soak the better it gets (hotter).
Then just add a couple of eye droppers of the tincture to a glass of water and drink it, several times per day.
But circulation may not be the only issue; your blood may not be absorbing enough oxygen due to low blood ph.
Thank you very much, dearest onyx. And thank you all very much for your prayers.
The leg is not so swollen anymore, but maybe that’s because there’s so much leakage. I used to wear a tight wrap all the time and it controlled the swelling and the leakage but it’s gotten too painful to wear. I usually wear one for part of the day now, but almost always have to ask Chris to take it off at bedtime. Been popping pain pills like crazy. Have to have a towel on the floor everywhere I sit to catch the water. I do have some sort of silver that we’ve tried on the wounds. The skin is now emaciated and very sensitive to touch or pressure. Now have to roll up my pant leg anytime I wear long pants and can’t sleep with my leg on the bed. Sleep in a reclining position with my foot on the floor. They gave me some adult diapers to wrap around my leg to collect the water, but can’t wear them very long. They get wet and make the skin burn and sting. Guess I’m going to be stuck for awhile until the waterworks stop. It’s leaked like this before for several months and then stopped as suddenly as it started. I think this is the third time in the last six or seven years that I’ve had the water flowing. I think the tight wrap stopped it last time, so I keep trying. Put a wrap on it during the day and leave for as long as I can tolerate it. Doc says I can keep the leg for as long as I can tolerate the pain and it doesn’t get infected. First sign of infection, the leg goes.
By the way, Marcella, thanks for funding the Olive Garden. It’s my favorite restaurant. ;) Don’t even need the pictures on the menu to order anymore. Just say bring me the regular. ;)
Thank you all very much and God bless. My prayers for you, too.
Thanks. I do have problems with the blood. My blood doctor keeps a close eye on it. She wasn’t happy with my last checkup, but left the meds at the same level. She’s going to have me come in a couple weeks early this time and if there’s no improvement she’s going to make some changes. It had been improving steadily for the last couple years, but now everything’s gone haywire.
AS bad as you say it is, you should be pushing for Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy.
It works well, but you have to find a place that has the chamber. The Navy has used it for something like 80 years.
