I’ll go back to my doctor for my dang bronchitis, and I’ll copy your words, to see if he can tell me anything at all that can possibly be of help.

Pop all the pain pills you can possibly endure without damaging your very fine liver. Eating red beets and garlic helps keep the liver running nicely. Not sure about the natural sugar in the red beets for your diabetes. I try to eat a 1/2 can of red beets and 5 cloves of roasted garlic every day.

Prayers and more prayers for you, dearest Jim, while all of us search for another cure. There has to be one out there.

Lord, hear our prayers.

Thank you very much. And I just happen to love red beets.

I think the wounds and skin problems are one thing, but the solution has to be to get blood flowing again and I think they usually do that via surgery. But the doc says I’m not a good candidate for surgery. They were even afraid my stump wouldn’t heal but it did. It was an above the knee amputation, so guess it was above the bad vein problem. They did put in stints a few years ago, but they didn’t help. I’ve also been taking some pills that are supposed to help the circulation, but haven’t seen any improvement. Also, the nitro treatments may have helped, but I developed a skin reaction to that after a year or so of daily treatments so they told me to stop. I’ll ask about that again.

Will be praying for you too, dearest onyx.

Onyx and Jim,

Lyrica works well for me although it is expensive, about $200 a month with my insurance. It is a synthetic drug. Not based on Codine, Morphine, etc. (I think)
It works for both arthritis and diabetic nerve pain. Better then any other so far for me.
You both have my prayers for a healthy recovery.
