This country has no idea what kind of end its begging for.
“...signed a law against conversion therapy directed at counseling teens experiencing homoerotic feelings...”
forbid the conversion of homosexuals today,
forbidding the conversion of non-believers to Christianity tomorrow.
Christianity is and has always been one generation from extinction. It is an imperative to pass on the faith.
The GOP is the party that first installed
RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE, gay marriage,
and anticonversion law.
Not conservative in any way.
Would he prefer the Sharia law Method of dealing with homosexuality?
I wonder if he be for a bill forbidding people to leave the Baptist church to go join a Methodist church. Some groups do therapy, religious cloning, this too should be categorized as evil and needs to stop.
Sliding towards sharia.
lol. When they suddenly ban women from driving then I think we need to start to worry.
I’m so confused.
If you can not have ‘conversion classes’ to prevent people from dissuading young gays that they should not be gay, then surely you can not have ‘conversion classes’ to prevent people from dissuading young heterosexuals that they should not be heterosexuals.
Isn’t that what is being taught in school today?

The above question of course has an unstated assumption — that gays are BORN THAT WAY.
Without even saying it, you have simply agreed with Chris Christie’s contention — that gays CANNOT CHANGE and that it is IN BORN.
Of course, we are still waiting for scientific proof of that....
We are losing ourselves and our nation one definition at a time as we ski the slippery slope.
RE: I think it has been proven that gay people are wired that way.
Can you site for us a scientific paper or a study or a reliable source for that please?
In the meantime, here’s what’s happening in Chicago:

Chicago sex-ed will begin in kindergarten, promote gay lifestyle
The Lesbian Mayoral Candidate in NYC, Christine Quinn, has other “Progressive ideas” too:

Christine Quinn may ok morning-after contraceptive pill for 11-year-old middle school children
May God forgive us. Those Cups of Wrath and of Justice are easily brimfull to overflowing by now.
What prayers can lower those levels at this point, after so much to fill them and even more yet to pour into them promised by all we do and call to ourselves?
When he was a young adolescent, my son's best friend, "Micah" was sexually abused by his next door neighbor. Now Micah is troubled by a disturbing combination of feelings related to sexual contact with males. He wants an emotional resolution in line with his own best ethical and personal values.
In plain language, Micah wants to take charge of is own life. He wants to recover, as much as possible, from the trauma of the assault. He does not want gay ideation, gay fantasies, or the gay lifestyle.
The present laws in NJ and CA would forbid him to seek the type of healing counseling he wants, because he is not yet 18. He would have to wait years suffering without the kind of professional care he chooses. These short-sighted bills which block his parents from helping him, gag therapists, and deny him control of his own life, can help nobody but the abusers.
Many boys' initiation into sex was with an exploitative, or at least opportunistic, older male. Gay "coming out" literature certainly confirms this pattern. They were not "born that way" and were not volunteers for sexual turmoil. How little understanding these CA and NJ politicians have for kids' confusion and suffering.
We need to stop this imposition of the force of law, which prevents sexually confused kids and their parents from accessing the care and the therapeutic approach they choose.
