Upon the anniversary of the March on Washington, John Lewis spoke to Meet the Press’ David Gregory about the legacy of the civil rights movement Sunday morning, encouraging America to embrace, not fear, the shifting demographics of the electorate that would put minorities in a place of political power.
“I think some forces want to create this sense of fear,” Lewis said. “They think that the country is moving too fast, or maybe becoming too progressive. The country’s not the same country. People are coming together. And in a short time, the minority will be the majority.”
Lewis is the sole surviving speaker of the 1963 march, and a longtime Democratic representative from Georgia.
“Is there backlash that comes with that?” Gregory asked.
“As Americans, we must be prepared to make that adjustment,” Lewis said. “Be courageous. Embrace the change.”
With hispanics being the biggest group of all and blacks finding themselves at the bottom of the totem pole one more time.

I continue to expect a full court press for reparations and major redistribution of wealth as soon as the 2014 elections are over whether or not the Democrats capture both the House and Senate. This is the “change” Lewis wants us to embrace.

With both hands we cheerfully eradicated ourselves, our future and our heritage. Paying the piper time has arrived, leaving us in ruinous, lasting consequences.
Sadly, he is correct. I wonder if some of us, even though we proclaim to, know just how close to the end America is. This isn’t like any other time. This isn’t about convincing people of the way we think (though we should). This is about a fundamental, and titanic, change in American demographics. None of these new “groups” are Conservative or GOP. Just look at CA. The GOP is dead that and it ain’t coming back. And it is 100% because of the demographic change.
Sometimes, empires fall. I’m not about giving up by any means, I will fight for my beliefs. But only a fool doesn’t see the handwriting on the wall.

Will have??? We already do, the takers now outnumber the makers. They will just keep voting themselves more free stuff until we end up like Greece; then they’ll all riot not understanding why the free stuff must come to an end.
Not only that, but they will have no slavery guilt leverage with the Hispanics.
