It doesn't surprise me that you don't trust modern day electors as much as you trust the founders. What might surprise me is if you were to tell me that you trust the Supreme Court more than you trust the electors - that you'd rather have a majority of nine justices decide upon some precise definition for the NBC clause than to allow a majority of electors to apply the eligibility standards and select our presidents per the Constitution.

Boy, that's a much tougher argument. Look before you leap! ;-)

Well played, sir.

All in for Cruz if he decides to go. Wouldn’t be a terribly difficult choice.

I saw a woman set a guy up once. Took a while to figure it out. Amazing that women can be so evil. That was before DNA testing.

I do. My hope is one day to call him my President, should he choose to run.

Cruz has to embrace his Canadian citizenship in order to renounce it. I’m glad he wants to be an American. That’s nice.

I’m getting mighty tired of “Republicans” (and Democrats) all sending every job they can to foreign competitors.

I have a theory about that. My theory is that if a US-based company every tried to bribe a public official there would be a paper trail that US law enforcement could follow.

But, how could US law enforcement follow a paper trail that exists in China (and a bribe that was sactioned by China)?

In other words, US business don't have the proverbial snowball's chance unless we suddenly start electing leaders with integrity.
