It wastes your time, others time and everyone’s money.

True enough Agnes, “voting” or any political activity undertaken in our current spiritual state is a loss.
The devil’s every place we turn now, just about. The devil hasn’t taken FR down yet, though. I think that’s for a good reason. God’s still standing guard over FR.
I am here rooting (ok, if you want to call it trolling do so, I don’t care, but I am here only to make good trouble) for God, that we will personally begin exalting Him. If we are believers we will exalt Him through praise, worship, prayer, and asking forgiveness where necessary, and resting ourselves on His love rather than on our prides. If we are unbelievers we need to exalt Him by accepting His salvational offer, then enter into the rest (pun on “rest” applicable, even if not intended by me) as believers.
Reap the spiritual power and then go forward (now that IS a true forward) with it for God’s exaltation in the spheres you touch, whether political or otherwise. I couldn’t care less at this point about the danger of spies. Let’s share the great news of God and His victory over hell, to spies! They’re walking around in the same hell on earth we are, and God loves spies too if not the wicked reasons that they spy for.
As I recall your original point was that NSA is bad because YOU allowed some chump to muck with your rights.
Therefore NSA is the equivalent of you old creepy admirer.

We are the ones saying no to God. God is endeavoring by any means to say yes to us, but not our sins.

God’s not here with grudges or playing favorites. We humans are the ones with the grudges.

The command from heaven is not “Go to hell.” It is “Turn around and go to heaven!” “Having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands all men everywhere to repent.” Let’s never ask or hope God to be a hit man and that to be the end of the story while we “good people” escape. None of us are “good people.” The Old Testament was not the end of the story. God kept writing.
Even our earthly civil rights mean nothing in God’s eyes if they are not employed in His exaltation.
Yes I can because God didn’t stop writing.
Our reactions to God are what permit or deny blessings to us.

And if you don’t think God will punish this nation, good and bad alike, you haven’t read the New Testament either.
