So do I.

Doesn’t change how they vote though, does it?

In what reality?

You will never convince someone whose family has been on public assistance for 3 or 4 generations that they’ll be better off working for a living.

They’ve got food, housing, medical care, dental care and free cellphones right now.

What would working achieve other than make them have to get up at 6am and ‘waste their day’ doing something they might not like?

I went to a HS that’s 50% black. One of the girls I was in band with was a GRANDMOTHER at 31. Of a child old enough to sit up by itself in a buggy in Walmart. She’s a nice enough person and we chatted for a minute. I mistakenly thought the cute baby was HER baby. Silly me.

She’s never had to hold a job. And yet all her needs have been met. And those of her children. And now those of her grandchildren. BTW, I’ve heard through the grapevine (it’s a small town) that her GRANDCHILD is pregnant. Which means she’ll be a GREAT grandmother by the time we’re 47.

And every one of those generations has been paid for by you and I. And NONE of them have EVER worked a day in their life.

You think ‘talking’ will fix that? You think voting, when the voting population is 50%+ takers will do anything?

Really?

I want some of that dope you’re smoking. It’s apparently good stuff.

You neglect the spirit of man.

Plenty of of folks have lifted themselves out of the tyranny of apathy and oppression.

Isn’t that the American dream?

That’s YOUR American dream.

The multigenerational welfare mob is alREADY living THEIR American dream.

Keep working though. Somebody has to pay the bills.

Just don’t think your vote in TX, even in local elections, will matter much once the population is 50% Hispanic. Probably 10 years or less. Depending on whether we get amnesty.

Regardless of how cordial your spoken relations are with your neighbors.

And what kind of clothing they wear or vehicles they may choose to drive...

Talking is a start.
Mentoring.

I am not a fellow who desires power, and I could easily be anyone, complacent or angry.
I think you can teach someone to excel, but you have trust that they will not take the knowledge you gave them to hurt you or themselves.

People have natural reactions to immediate concerns.

Snowdens story does not wash with me.

Uninformed people barking at me does not concern me.
Does anyone really think that those people you speak of are worth giving power too?
We give them consideration and protection of law.

Anyone that sends some one like that to a position of power is a fool and gets what they deserve.

I’ll keep doing what I do in Tx, and you keep doing what you do in NJ.

Fair enough?

I can tell you’ve never really encountered the racial grievance crowd first hand before.

Take thee to the Mississippi Delta and explain to those 4th generation welfare takers that they’re better off working a job every day.

You will never convince anyone who has a certain standard of living just by breathing air that they’ll be better off working 40 or 50hrs a week to achieve that same standard of living. Or even less of one.

Never.

Once they exceed your kind’s vote at the voting booth you’ll never be free again.

Witness the 2008 election for an example.

You’ve got 10 years, max, for your illusion that local voting changes anything.

Ask Detroiters how that works after 50+ years of being outvoted...

I moved from NJ a loooong time ago. I still have that locale up as I keep track of NJ politics.

I live in MS now.

My locale is 55% Black. Guess how politics goes here?

Talking to the neighbors (next door neighbors are Black in fact) about it is very unproductive. They’re OWED what they’re getting. And if you begrudge their getting it then you’re a dirty racist.

And since Texas used to be Mexican before the dirty white man showed up, guess how your local politics will go in about 10 years? Y’all didn’t just hold them slaves 150 years ago, you stole the whole danged place from them!

Imagine the grievance they’re owed for that!

How goes the voting in Cleveland these days?

Elected any republicans to local office there lately?

Think ‘talking’ will fix those election results.

Except they’re not just whining brats.

They’re organized, have a plan, and are winning.

Your old age in TX won’t be pleasant. At all.
