The American Action Network (AAN), a GOP establishment organization headed by former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN), is trying to argue that passing an amnesty would create jobs.
AAN data reportedly shows the Senates Gang of Eight immigration bill would add nearly 14,000 new jobs on average in each congressional district over the next decade.
AAN violating American Economic Association (AEA) standards
This is outrageous, a former Heritage Foundation staffer told Breitbart News, regarding the fact that an economic analysis produced by a shop that Holtz-Eakin is involved with would not publish the required economic data to be considered credible and has not released it upon request. .
what is known about AANs work is that it used economic data that President Barack Obamas White House has touted after the Institutional Left funded the production of the research. The Ford Foundation ...George Soros-funded National Immigration Forum (NIF),
Ironically, that same CBO report points out that wages of American workers would be driven down for at least a decade if this bill were to pass.
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) told Breitbart News on Tuesday that the group needs to release the relevant information or pull it down from its website.
Sessions also told Breitbart News that the Senate Gang of Eight bills failure will only at best reduce illegal immigration 30 to 50 percent from current levels
"Based on conservative CBO projections, the senate bill would add approximately 46 million immigrants by 2033, Miller said in an email. Even using AAN's inflated claim of 6 million jobs that's not nearly enough to keep up with the expansion of guest workers and low-skill immigration contained in the proposal. That's why CBO reports that joblessness will grow, wages will fall, and per-capita GNP will shrink for the next 25 years.

It must be OPPOSITE DAY!
I can’t think of a more effective way for the GOP to demoralize its base before a key election.
WTF is wrong with these people?
They are elitists. They want to please their major donors, and to hell with anyone else.
The GOP is broken beyond repair. It’s time for a replacement, ground up.
Tyrant B. Hussein Obama, (aka Barry Soetoro), continues his unopposed efforts to expand Totalitarian Obamanation in Liberty-based America.
Where are the Republican opponents of Tyrant Obama?
Why have the Articles of Impeachment for Tyrant Obama not been issued by US House Speaker Boehner, or Pro-Welfare Republicans Cantor or Ryan?
Have House and Senate Pro-Welfare Republicans formed a cave-in pact with Pro-Welfare Democrats to protect Tyrant Obama?
Hussein dusted off a few tapes and photographs the NSA and CIA collected on the so-called GOP "leadership".
The amnesty program will take jobs form 10-50 million Americans that are have the fortitude to work further degrading the “American Exceptional ism” and bring us down into the mud of Euro paganism/communism
That would be a lot of government and correctional institution jobs, maybe it’s including all of the construction work to build more prisons?
I think they mean that putting 30 to 50 million foreigners on welfare and ObamaCare would create a lot of “new jobs”. That’s a lot of “navigator” jobs.
WTF is wrong with these people?
I'd guess they're being blackmailed by the F, the B, and the I on Democratic [sic] party ordersunless, of course, they're just completely stupid.
My daughter sent my wife a text yesterday (both are teachers) saying, she wished they’d fully fund schools and let prisons get their money from property tax bond issues.
I laughed.
To quote Mark Levin: “DESPICABLE TROLLS!”
I believe it will create jobs. If a 10 million people immigrate and employment among citizens drops by 2 million jobs while 2.1 million immigrants get jobs, then it created jobs.
Unemployment as a percentage of the population or workforce may have risen. Unemployment as an absolute number and as a percentage among citizens will have risen. The standard of living among citizens or the entire population may have fallen. But jobs were created.
The trouble with that stat is that legalizing the stated 10 million will create 22,988 job seekers, instantly. Over 10 years, triple the number of job seekers and we have a deficit if about 55,000 jobs per legislative district.
They are both on the same page in the “Lets Make America Marxist” playbook. The only difference is that they read slower. We are no longer a Representative Republic. We are a Dictatorial Oligarchy!
American Action Network is associated with American Action Forum, both of which are Jeb Bush & Karl Rove.
