Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the third-ranking House Democrat, on Wednesday accused the U.S. media of spreading "manufactured controversies" that pose dangers similar to the propaganda spread by the Nazis during the Holocaust.

Wow. I agree with him! What happened???
A misleading headline. He’s really only talking about “right-wing” internet bloggers, not the mainstream media.
Very true, out media is nearly 100% in total conformity to the views of the socialist state
Not really.
That’s what I was guessing, but didn’t want to waste my time reading the article. But, it would be funny to quote Clyburn and then mention some of their Trayvon propaganda...
The comments section under the article make it worth the visit. He’s absolutely right, but he has it all backward!
Clyburn is correct about the American MSM being like Nazi propagandists — except he's trying to blame the wrong media outlet. (Of course, we always knew that.)
But he does realizes that the horse left the barn a long time ago.
Just like with "The Emperor's New Clothes", the scam depends on EVERYBODY being in agreement, and nobody pointing out that the Emperor really IS naked.
James Clyburn, the third-ranking democrat. This guy is too ignorant to find his way out of a two stalk corn maze. It is time for the Republicans to do a little voting district gerrymandering in South Carolina.
He’s parrotting the Obama line. Thanks Biggirl.
“Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the third-ranking House Democrat, on Wednesday accused the U.S. media of spreading “manufactured controversies” that pose dangers similar to the propaganda spread by the Nazis during the Holocaust.”
He’s got that part right, when you consider, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, Public Broadcasting, Wash. Post, NY Times et al. But, he’s all wet when he blames the internet and right minded media.
Well, GOOD MORNING, Mr. Clyburn!!!
Glad to see you’ve woken up and are smelling the coffee!
The fact Clyburn is the third ranking member is in its self an indication of the trouble America is in.
Before than can be America, there must be no Clyburn
HA-HA, if the commenters bothered to read the article at link they would have seen that he is calling what he says ‘right wing bloggers’ = ‘the media’, his words exactly.
You agree with the headline but not the substance of the article.
The Democrats DESPISE the Internet. They hate the free expression and discussion of ideas that goes on here.
Folks, John F’in Kerry said just a couple weeks ago that “the Internet makes governing hard.” Now Clyburn is out talking about propaganda from American men and women expressing ideas. There’s another story about the government contracting with a password vault organization for access to all government services.
How long do you honestly believe that the Internet in our country will remain “free?” They’re already shutting down websites in the name of national security. What happens if you browse to Cabelas or CheaperThanDirt and there’s a splash screen up that says that the government has shut down the website due to violations of the UN ATT Treaty? What happens if you wake up one morning to find Drudge or even FR shuttered in the name of “national security?”
If you don’t think it can’t or won’t happen, then you’re not paying attention. The government has flexed its muscles time and time again in the last 5 years under Obama. If you don’t think it’s going to get worse AND QUICKLY, you’re going to wake up one morning to a shock.
What a liar. Perhaps this lying Senator is a Contrarian Indian like the one in Little Big Man.
As crazy as a sh*t house rat.
” - - - things start getting reported in the mainstream media, and before you know it, people believe that stuff,” Clyburn said. - - - “
Yup, that is how the Liberal Agenda Media has kept the Welfare Democrats afloat for all these decades.
