Well, I’m happy to report that I’ve gone from a year of unemployment to nine months of underemployment and am now starting a job that makes close to what I made before the recession. I count myself blessed (poorer but blessed). I know a lot of people who are worse off.

This is a real shame since Republicans have governors in most states. I hope this does not continue. We want to keep the Republicans as Governors and even gain in 2014.

The answer, of course, is to get more people out of the employment market altogether by getting them on Disability or such. That raises the percentages even as the employment numbers are stagnant or decline.
