World Silent As Brotherhood Targets Coptic Christians

Mideast: Christians in Egypt are again the target of Islamist Muslim Brotherhood supporters using the new violence as a cover for ongoing persecution. If Christians were burning mosques, the world would be outraged.

Amid the raging violence in Egypt, a less-publicized war is being waged against Egypt's long-persecuted Coptic Christians, this time using the excuse that they were somehow involved in the military's ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohammed Morsi from power.

Coptic Christians comprise up to 10% of Egypt's 84 million people.

Ishaq Ibrahim from the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights group has documented as many as 39 incidents of violence against churches, monasteries, Coptic schools and shops in different parts of the country within the past few days. They include Thursday's torching of the Prince Tadros Church in the province of Fayoum, where three similar attacks occurred on other churches the day before.

Islamists firebombed the Mar Gergiss Church in Sohag, a city with a large community of Coptic Christians, burning it to the ground. Islamists previously raised an al-Qaida flag over the church.

Another two places of worship, the Churches of Abraham and the Virgin Mary, were attacked in El-Menia province, leaving them partially damaged by fire. St. Theresa Church in Assiut in Upper Egypt was also burned.

Well...I’m pretty sure President Obama would issue a stern statement...if he weren’t on vacation.

But, just wait until he gets back! He’ll show those mean people!

Obama won’t say spit! These are Coptic CHRISTIANS getting killed and that’s okay with Zero because their not Muslims. Zero is all about defending the followers of pedophilic camel humpers not the followers of Christ.

If the pope had a spine he would muster Christian support worldwide for the Coptics and other Christians.

Islam and Persia have persecuted Christians for 12 centuries. It might be time to do something about the religion of peace - something they actually understand and respect - violence.

To do what? It’s difficult to imagine any public action, outside of prayer, that wouldn’t be counterproductive.

Maybe, but the Swiss Guards can’t do it.

THIS JUST IN--DATELINE EGYPT Gen Al-Sissi would not take Obama's call---signaling the General's determination to drive the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics. After Wed's bloodbath, he drove Muslims from the mosque where they had gathered to ID their dead---Al- Sissi then confiscated the bodies.

===============================================

The military's vow to rebuild Egyptian churches torched by the Muslim Brotherhood will certainly gain the support of the American people....but there is NO WAY Obozo will turn against Morsi & MB. Obozo will never be one of US, he is always one of Them.

=================================================

MILITARY.COM EXCERPT---US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi, but chief Pentagon spokesman George Little said that "US officials at all levels have made it clear that we support the democratic process in Egypt and that we hope that this period of tension can be resolved in a peaceful manner and that violence can be avoided." "We don't support any single party or group," Little said. "We believe that this needs to be resolved through political means."

Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to-military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al- Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.

About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan.

Gen Al-Sisi, 58, received a masters degree from the U.S. War College in Carlisle, Pa., in 2006.

On his radio show Friday, Glenn Beck read a list of all the Christian churches burned in Egypt.

It was a very long list.

so far - only one world leader is calling for the rest of the world to step up and help stop the persecution of Christians - the same one who is also rejecting homosexuality demands for acceptance in his country

http://www.persecution.org/2013/08/05/russian-leader-calls-for-world-to-unite-to-end-christian-persecution/

Putin was baptized as a baby - in secret...carries his cherished cross on him that his mother gave him on a trip to Israel when he was little -

Putin on the church in Russia - very interesting

Would that WE had a leader who loved our Country and defended Christianity - and rejected the demands of the gay/lesbian world.
