Neither tax day nor election day are set in the Constitution.
It would be easier to do it without an amendment
Those who pay taxes already get it.. it’s the half that doesn’t something needs to be done with.

Not a good idea as Tax Day = Pay Day in Obama’s world. With all the tax credits the Democrats want to hand out tax refunds are a major source of income for the 47%.

You would do more by having welfare recipients go door to door for their hand outs. Start that and tax day would be no big deal.
Not a bad idea, but the impact of this would be lost on the half of citizens who don’t have to pay any federal taxes.
The income tax system has become a corrupt political morass. We need to dump it completely so it can never sprout again. The best approach proposed IMHO is the FairTax...
Also, regardless of the revenue collection system, we need to curtail spending starting with wasteful, politically inspired programs. We can begin that now.
