You get a dry mouth and a fast heart rate for a while. A little uncomfortable but no big deal

Yep. The first nerve gas was a batch of pesticide that went wrong.
Hmmmm. Everybody's dead, I wonder what happened?
Atropine. Don't work with organo-phosphates without it...
Been drinking the jimsonweed tea again, I see...
You’re the Doctor!
<< That Japanese cult a few years back did manufacture Sarin, but ended up with very impure and not very effective stuff. Some weakness with their storage, if I remember. >>
It was the flawed delivery system they chose that limited thesubway attack deaths to 12 or so. They wrapped the sarin in newspapers and used the sharpened tip of an umbrella to poke holes in the package right before exiting the subway. The sarin didn’t become airborne fast enough to kill people before they hit the next stop and exited to safety. Tons of people were injured but not killed. I really have expected a new and improved Aum Shinrikyo-style of sarin attack here in the USA but for whatever reason, it hadn’t happened.
Not me, heck I don’t even smoke Indian Tobacco
The highly lethal nerve agent VX -- used in weapons of mass destruction -- appears to have been discovered in a mail facility at JFK Airport and sickened two US customs agents this morning, a law-enforcement source said.
Both victims suffered respiratory distress and were taken for emergency treatment after being overcome while inside the US Postal Service facility on North Boundary Road at 9:40 a.m., the source said.
Initial testing after the incident revealed the presence of "chemical-grade weapons and nerve gas," and subsequent testing produced a positive reading for VX, the source said.

Redman?
Rules out Kim-Chee.
Whoa.
Nope.
Red River
I am confused
The “victims” didn’t even want help?
and then we are told its VX Nerve Gas... and they are in the ER... which is it?
Will they find out who mailed it?
If this turns out to be a false alarm.... ambulance, cops, firefighters, bomb squad, poison control, animal control, park department, CDC, DEA, FBI, ATF, National Guard, US Marines delivered by Blackhawks, M1A2 tanks from the nearest Army outpost and the Secret Service
and a declaration of war on China
all for a can of bug spray?
Now that would be embarrassing.
.....
So its either a new war or bug spray? or what?
bkmk
The Wehrmacht was aware of nerve gas and had tons of it produced but it was never used as a field weapon for two reasons: Hitler thought using gas as a weapon was not honorable. He sustained lung damage near the end of WWI and spent the remainder of the war in hospital, he was terrified of gas and would not authorize it's "first use" because he felt the allies were at least as far along as his chemists. The truth was that the allies were only at a WWI stage (blistering and suffocating agents) and didn't have a clue about nerve gasses.
I wonder if AH's exposure to gas (chlorine?) was responsible for his guttural raspy voice, also he would not allow anyone to smoke in his presence.
Zyklon B was a cyanide-based pesticide invented in early 1920s and used later during the war by Nazi SS to kill people confined in death camps. Cyanide is not a nerve agent.

“Does not necessarily...”
Nerve gas terrorism sounds better than accidental release of pesticides when it come to justifying NSA violations of privacy rights.
There ain’t no medium in nerve gas. You get it or you don’t. You get it and you are dead! You do not get “sick” from it.
