New Map Shows Right to Concealed Carry Since 1986
Bearing Arms ^ | August 05, 2013

Anti-gun politicians continue to promote falsified statistics that suggest we’re progressing towards a gun free country. You’ve probably seen the NRA’s map that shows every state’s concealed carry policy, but check out below how much we’ve gained over the last couple of decades.

Isn’t that green a pretty sight to see? Here we are in 2013 during the “height” of firearm banning and yet only a handful of Northeast states (plus California and D.C.) have restrictions on concealed carry. It just reinforces the lesson that you can’t trust everything these legislators/reporters tell you about public opinion. Obviously our country still values firearms and will continue to own them despite the faint complaints from select politicians.

TOPICS: Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: 2a; banglist; ccw; concealedcarry; guncontrol; guns; secondamendment
Lookin' good! We're moving in the right direction.

Now we need to get constitutional carry (unrestricted in the chart) implemented in more states.

now we need to move to 50 state (and territories) mandatory recognition.

driving is legally a privledge and all state recognize licenses.

so

ccw is a fundamental right extension so all states have to recognize that.

(consider the homosexuals are using that argument to impose deviant based marriage on all states)

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking!

Would be interesting to see the intersection with blue/green and partisan control of the particular state.

universal reciprocal carry: with the difference between it and universal phaggotry being, there’s no mention of one of them in the Bill of Rights.

New Jersey isn’t really May Issue. Unless you are a retired Police Officer or can provide proof of an immediate threat to your life you will not get a concealed carry permit.

In practice unless you are a retires Police Officer you will not get a permit.

I could see how that chart and weighing it against what they hear/read in the news creates a bit of confusion for the uninformed.

From the liberal news sources you would think that the entire country is against CC and it is only hayseed, back water throw backs and murderous thugs who support it.

It’s my experience that few of these reporters have ever travelled south of the mason dixon, east of the appalachians, or outside of San Francisco.

That’s what I call Progress!

On a side note – I like the fact that the movement towards freedom in most states is signified by the use of the color blue instead of red.

Red up until a few years ago meant Communism or other Marxist ideologies – and it was the Left who’s been trying ever since to muddy the waters in this regard with their flipping of the colors like that.

We need to resist this movement and reclaim the color blue for the freedom side of the political spectrum, leaving red for the socialists.

Maybe the RINOS can take the third color our flag for their own – white to signify surrender to socialism.
