O'Reilly to 'Race Hustler' Al Sharpton: 'Your Day Is Done'
FOX News ^ | July 30, 2013 | Fox Nation

Posted on 07/31/2013 5:04:31 AM PDT by kevcol

But out of tragedy can come something positive and that is why "Talking Points" is urging the civil rights folks to stop maligning the country and face up to a huge problem that is directly harming millions, primarily in the African-American community. Young black Americans are the most violent group in this country by far.
.
.
They also ignore the entertainment industry putting out vile products aimed at young people, some of whom incorporate the gangster culture into their own lives.

On Thursday we told you that Al Sharpton, now in business with a company that distributes garbage like Lil' Wayne, while Sharpton says he's concerned with the state of black culture, his upcoming book will be marketed by a company, Cash Money Content, that debases this country.

In response to my analysis, Sharpton took to the air and did what he usually does. He attacked the messenger implying that I am racist. .
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHARPTON: Is Bill O'Reilly saying George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin because Trayvon was born out of wedlock even though he wasn't? That's ridiculous, right?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: Ridiculous, you bet, Al. Your day is done.

I used to get pissed when (well, among a lot of other things) BOR gave this scumbag the shred of dignity he never deserved - hope this bridge is burned for good.

Once again, BOR is wrong, but in this case I wish he was right.

Obama has extended the day of Sharpton, Jackson, etc. for many years to come.

I mostly had stopped watching BOR...but, imho, he has been doing a great job talking about the race hustlers in his TPM...I noticed that Juan Williams even got a little choked up the other night when he told Bill that he hoped he wouldn't be "scared off" of having this discussion...

Sharpton has moved on up from BOR. He's advising the President now. Civilization crumbles as we watch.

Did BOR say Z shot M because M was born out of wedlock? Or is Sharpton just “making stuff up”?

On this issue BOR is doing what very few high profile people have the guts to do. And, as is necessary, he’s doing it nightly. He should be lauded.

I applaud his guts in telling the truth anywhere near the “race issue”.

I’m not a BOR fan. I don’t like his constant interruptions and I don’t like the over-talking and yelling among guests. That said, he’s right on this one, and he’s one of the few talking heads with the cojones to take on the subject.

I said it just after the incident last year when I overheard people trying to speed the non credible fabricated story NBC was trying to spread. We are over race hatred

There’s a lot of lying going on

Rumors

This story is going to end with a reasonable outcome and the baiters will be the last to know

I think BOR has his eyes on his ratings...was he losing right wing watchers? Meanwhile, was he not buddy buddy with Sharpton until a few years ago? What happened then to change his mind and why wait 2-3 years to begin this commentary.

After that, I am happy someone of note is taking on this fraud for what it is. The race baiters and hustlers have been a blight on this country for far too long.

Many years ago I taught at Samuel J. Tilden H.S. in Brooklyn, NY, the place where Sharpton honed his craft as a rabble-rouser. Some of the other teachers remembered him as a young student organizing student walk-outs over perceived injustices. They recounted to me how he was often ready to pounce on things teachers would say in the hope of stirring up a conversation about injustice, inequality, race. Even as a teenager, people saw that “he had a calling” and was pursuing it to the hilt.

One time, on my drive home from teaching, I was passing through a particularly depressed area of Bed-Stuy and there was Sharpton, regaled in a long, winter coat replete with fur collar, three-piece suit, his MLK medallion dangling around his neck, that lion’s mane of permed hair he used to sport—holding court on the street corner with some of the locals. You could just see that this was a man on a mission, a regular street-politician, who was always working the crowd.

I imagine Obama has a similar story to tell.

O'REILLY: Ridiculous, you bet, Al. Your day is done.

Hopefully true. His day should have been done after Tawana Brawley, or when captured on camera trying to buy coke, or when he incited a riot that resulted in arson and death. Looking at him recently, his days do seem to be numbered.

“I think BOR has his eyes on his ratings...was he losing right wing watchers? “

Regardless of BOR’s motivation for taking on this issue, the fact that his approach garners higher ratings speaks to previously veiled interest in slamming race baiters such as Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Indirectly, it speaks to frustration with Dear Leader. BOR’s perspective translating into higher ratings speaks to a silent anger among the more rational voters in this country.

BOR has been doing some good things lately on his show, I do think as others his motivation is ratings, we can hope his motivation is the result of seeing the error of his wishy washy ways, but I am not convinced, time will tell.

I know this much so far, I would not want BOR as a friend!

Well, there’s someone ruling above us who has a veto on that... and it ain’t Barack Obama, hint hint hint!

What I say... Bill, you are off the mark a lot, but for this I say... let it be from your keyboard to God’s ears. And from our prayers to God’s ears. God’s glory is being impugned. Like there’s no God available to black men, only some kind of celestial cudgeler who has to beat special benefits out of the white men for them but the white men won’t cooperate with this cudgeler. God created all men, not with equal capabilities, but all are equal in having His image and being eligible for His love. If any accept the love, returning it to God as they do, they will be forever blessed.

Anyhow, asking God to act because His glory is being impugned is a valid prayer! And be sure to ask for a gracious answer... that the black men will wake back up to the genuine authentic God that was only waiting for their answer. While God can’t force their choice, God can arrange for those who WILL choose, to BE there. (Don’t ask me how He traverses time. He just does it. I just ask God for the miracles he has already prepared.) The celestial cudgeler will get cudgeled and Sharpton himself will have to either repent or be put out of the picture. Of course we hope he’d repent... anything less would be short of God’s desire.

Perhaps he is hinting at frustration but when given an opportunity to dun his excellency directly, he avoids any negative comments especially any comment about his being the most devisive president in history over racial issues excluding Lincoln. Crowley began a conversation pointing to Obama last evening and he shut her down. The Iguana, Colms, went on to laud his excellency about his speech of two weeks ago with BOR nodding his consent.

Yes, dun as in pester or hector.

Sorry, use His Excellency to address POTUS.
