Obama: America’s founders inspired communist Ho Chi Minh

Following a meeting with Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang today at the White House, President Barack Obama seemed to offer praise for communist revolutionary Ho Chi Minh as someone “inspired” by America’s Founding Fathers, the PJ Tatler reports.

During the Oval Office meeting, Obama says he and Sang “discussed the challenges that all of us face when it comes to issues of human rights,” referring to Vietnam’s sordid record on the issue. “And we had a very candid conversation about both the progress that Vietnam is making and the challenges that remain.”

When it was time to leave, Sang reportedly offered Obama a gift — a “copy of a letter sent by Ho Chi Minh to Harry Truman.”

…And that’s where things get dicey.

I'm getting mixed messages here, 0bama is obviously an admirer of Ho Chi Minh, but he hates the Founding Fathers.
So if good A is inspired by bad B, does that mean A is bad or B is good after all? I'm confused.

So what he is saying, is that the North Vietnamese thought more of our Founders and Founding Documents, than he does.  I can believe that.

The only Founding Fathers Ho admired were Marx and Lenin.

This is old news, Ho was inspired by our founders but turned to Stalin when we backed France’s claim to Indochina after WWII instead of getting them their independence as we promised during the fighting. ObamaNation is counting on journalists not doing their homework and the dumbed downed people not knowing about it.

It’s not as out there as some people think. Trotsky-ite socialists also admire the Founding Fathers and regard the American Revolution as a step forward in the ‘struggle’.

If double letters were part of this equation, I would suspect that Fannie Doolie was involved.

I've been to Vietnam...*not* as a soldier but as a civilian.I saw very little evidence there of the influence of Washington,Jefferson or Madison.I *did*,OTOH,see a good deal of evidence of the influence of such giants of decency as Mao,Stalin,Molotov,Kim Il Sung.

This is absolutely true, and one of the sorriest moments of our history. The French pulled down the flag and handed the country over to the Japanese WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT. We supplied HO and his followers with weapons with the STATED agreement that if they helped us get rid of the Japs, they could have their country.

And then we let the French talk us out of it.

Psychopaths generally tend to use other people's positive character traits because they have none of their own.

It makes them feel as though they are fooling people into thinking that they are somewhat moral.

If they were really emulating George Washington, they all would have went back to their farms when they had the chance to be supreme dictator.

So was that dictator in the Woody Allen film Bananas

Just before he took power and declared the official language would be Swedish and all underwear must be worn on the outside.

Old Ho was no fool. He knew the possibility of the U.S. helping the French and he was trying to cover his ass and keep that from happening. It almost came about by way of Operation Vulture which was to rescue the French at Dien Bien Phu by way of bombing the Viet Minh and with a possible option to use nukes. Eisenhower dropped the plan when he couldn’t get the Brits who had ousted Churchill as PM. If he had still been PM he might have agreed to the coalition and the history of VN and SEA might have been very different.

What an absolute disgrace. A slap in the face to my relatives, friends and all Americans who died or were wounded in Vietnam.

If this doesn't open some peoples eyes nothing will.

These days I think it's stand-up comedy to suggest that Rush's low information crowd will ever have a problem with anything the Balloon-Head-In-Chief says.

Ho Chi Minh took everything he ever used from Josef Stalin. In North Vietnam if a putative leader in any segment even asked for a clarification of ANYTHING the Butcher Ho pronounced, the putative leader woke up dead the next morning.

Indeed, he was a US ally in WWII. He needed us to rid himself (himself, not Vietnam) of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. When he no longer needed us his butcher fetish rematerialized in the form of a vast number of dead bodies.

This is just another way for Obama to show what a disgusting gutter low-life denizen he is.
