I grew leery of him years ago but, like you said, he’s there to stay.

The sad part is that he considers himself a conservative.

NOT even close!

No taxation without representation! Remember that, Senator Cornyn? “Obamacare” is a TAX.

Sorry
‘On the other hand, if Congress lets this disaster play itself out with no interference the media won’t be able to lay the problem on the GOP”
IF obamacare goes into effect there will be NO going back
It must be stopped now.

I will be calling every Cornyn number tomorrow
and I will have a list of as many zip codes as I need

He needs to know he won’t be MY Senator after Jan 012016 IF he does not join Cruz and the rest.

The grassroots that got Cruz elected, remember he started out with negative name recognition can get Cornyn voted out

How opportune. The Republican National Committee called me today for a contribution. I read this headline and the next regarding McCain and asked him why I would want to support this anymore. He said that he is aware of some of these guys and gals and by raising money for the Party we can get rid of them. I said I have heard the save crap for the past 15 years. I asked him why I haven’t heard anything about Fast and Furious anymore. He ran out of answers and got frustrated when I told him I would better spend my money on individual races to get rid of these people myself. He hung up.

He also funded “Independent” write-in candidate Mookowski in Alaska against Republican Joe Miller, on whom he also sicced RNSC lawyers.

Time to get rid of this fast-becoming RINO?? I say YES!

Cornyn "fast becoming" a RINO? No, he's been one for a long time now. Ted Cruz almost scared him straight, but I'm afraid he serves powerful masters who can (and will) control what he ultimately does.

He's got to go, just as soon as possible.

Unfortunately all I got were answering machines in both DC and Houston. However that didn’t stop me from politely bit firmly telling the Senator that if he needed a pair that he should contact Anthony Weiner as he seems to have more than enough to go around

No Christmas card from his office this year.

Cornyn is the worst Senator of all 100.

Cornyn has been a Democrat ever since my best friend worked with him at Thompson & Knight at Dallas. Said he was a pathetic bed wetter.

Wow. I either forgot about that, or didn't hear that at the time. That's horrific.

Joe did his own damage in the general with a very undisciplined campaign, but he'd still be a much better Senator...clearly. I can't figure out how guys like this can run such good primary campaigns and then become mistake-laden in the general. We've clearly seen it several times in the past two cycles. I am 100% behind these insurgent conservative challengers, but still want to figure out how we can sort out the Lees, Ron Johnsons, and Cruzs from the Millers and Mourdocks who perform well in the party primary and then become horribly undisciplined later. The party poobahs say to vote for the mealy-mouthed moderates, but that crew does as much damage as the leftists. I am fine breaking a few eggs while we make the omelette, but we also have to fine-tune our process for picking effective candidates in races we should win.

Here's some background...

After tense midterms, DeMint and Cornyn agree to bury the hatchet

” McCain, McConnell, is there a difference?”

Well, if Cornyn were to “Mc” it up, they’d be birds of feather...

At least on the surface...

I used to have a general feeling of trust in Cornyn, it has eroded to mere crumbs of diddly-squat over the last few years...

This pretty much throws all of what is left out the window...

And if all we can get out of his office is that he never signed onto the original letter, then it just means he was really bought and paid for before any of this came to light...

Some people are right on this, he has no real primary threat...I kinda hoped that there would be this cycle, so we could dump him for another Cruz-type conservative...

I’m just really dreading the next 6 years of having to rely on enough Texans to remember what happened here, and if we have a country worth saving in 6 years to try and send him somewhere else but D.C. (and Texas for that matter)...

It would have been interesting to see Palin move to Texas, instead of Arizona...We might have tossed Cornyn this time...

But then again there are folks in Texas that have a real rub against her as well...

Can’t quite put my finger on that issue...But hey, that’s politics...

Well, Teas was it’s own country for about 9 years. Maybe once again?

Wouldn’t offend me one bit...

Unfortunately, it would be a severe financial impact upon the citizens of this state for many reasons...Even with our status as having a fairly good economic situation now, that would be lost if we cut ties with the Union...

But that is an discussion/argument for another day...

I’ve already gotten through to my contact in his office, and they are all toting the line when it comes to the story that he wasn’t even a signator on that letter...

So I called that BS, and took a lot of grief from my guy for not believing their story...

So I am thinking a lot of information, some of it questionable is being floated out there to just get everyone’s bowels in an uproar...

But then again, I do not rest easy when it comes to folks we elect to represent us from this state...I do not let my guard down in the slightest...

I think we should ALL stay on top of this, and not let it go...

Just my opinion...
