Senator Mike Lee has been collecting signatures to a letter pledging to defund Obamacare.
Senator John Cornyn was an original signer of the letter. This has been confirmed by multiple outlets, including the Blaze, and confirmed by multiple Senate sources.
But, after pressure from Senator McConnell’s office and others, Senator John Cornyn has yanked his name from Senator Lee’s letter.
Senator Lee today publicly revealed the existing signatures on his letter. They are:
Senators Rubio (R-FL), Cruz (R-TX), Risch (R-ID), Paul (R-KY), Inhofe (R-OK), Vitter (R-LA), Thune (R-SD), Chiesa (R-NJ), Enzi (R-WY), Fischer (R-NE), and Grassley (R-IA).
Senator Cornyn had previously added his name. Multiple Senate sources confirm this.
Senator Cornyn is no longer willing to promise he will oppose a continuing resolution that funds Obamacare. I think we deserve to know why. His phone number is 202-224-2934. You should call and ask.

Right now a multi-billion dollar attempt to implement the exchanges is under way. It is doomed to fail.
But by gawd, NOBODY is going to put a halt to it until contractors with donor connections to the GOP have gotten their share.
Cornyn can do as he wishes; no one has come forward to oppose him, and he knows it. No one else can raised the money to challenge him, I guess. Or maybe Texans are just too uninformed to know his record.

Tom Pauken should switch races; leave the gubernatorial nod to Greg Abbot and run against Cornyn. But Cornyn has already beat Pauken before, in 1998 for attorney general. So that won’t work.

From what I’ve been reading, he’s OUT next cycle.
Because Obamacare means power to these corrupt bass turds. If there is ever a chance of defunding becoming a reality, there will be defections. Most of them want it, and want it bad.
He wants to "look at all options" (BARF!), as this legislation could force a gubmint shut down....(SHUT IT DOWN, IF NEED BE!!)
