Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad recently transferred two shipments of chemical weapons to Lebanon-based Hizbullah, the Syrian rebels are claiming.
Fahad al Masri, a spokesman for the Western-backed Free Syrian Army, told the Lebanese news website El Nashra on Thursday that the Syrian regime managed to deliver shipments of chemical weapons to Hizbullah.
He added that the weapons were delivered from an area near the capital Damascus and arrived in Lebanon sometime in the past several weeks.
The transfer of the weapons, al Masri told El Nashra, was coordinated by Syria and Iran.

I have a feeling, if these weapons are used on Israel, it might invite a nuclear response. I don’t think Israel will mess around.
I think Damascus will be toast pretty soon...as predicted in the Bible.
This is Sunni propaganda, trying to induce a military response against Asaad from Israel or the U.S.
Well, if the weapons are no longer in Assad’s hands, he can’t use them against his own people. And Obama certainly would not want to look like he was fighting on behalf of Israel, would he?
Yes...if those weapons were there they would be hit like the previous ones!
I don’t believe anybody on Syria. Except Israel, maybe, sometimes. Of course, they don’t run their mouths much anyhow.
Weapons stamped “Made in Iraq?”

...... try at triangulation?
Sounds like the rebels are trying to conjure up some Israeli support for themselves.

More propaganda from the Islamists designed to get the US to fight their war for them.
The whole chemical weapons story has been absurd from day one: Assad’s winning the war with conventional weapons and despite knowing of the US “red line” he decides to use Sarin “on a small scale” in four strategically insignificant engagements that kill 100-150 people? To what end?
And notice how the US “confirmed” the use of Sarin only as Assad started to turn the tables on the ground. The whole thing is transparent nonsense.
As for Israel, she hasn’t had a problem with Assad’s chemical weapons for the 30+ years the regime has had them - weapons procured, by the way, as a deterrence to Israel’s nukes.
The weapons are in safe hands with Assad. Things will get really dicey if the Islamist rebels get a hold of them.
It’s ok. The EU hasn’t blacklisted them as a terror group yet, so the wmd are in safe hands.
