It's not every day that a high school student gets to ask a question at a White House press briefing. Yesterday, 16-year-old Gabe Finger, an intern at The Daily Caller, asked Press Secretary Jay Carney whether President Obama plans to take any action after the death threats to George Zimmerman and his family.
Carney said he wasn't aware of any specific reports about death threats, but deferred to Florida authorities. He then brushed off the question as "ridiculous."
Finger explained to Steve Doocy this morning that it was decided at the office what question would be asked and he had gone to the briefing in place of someone else. He had no idea what would happen in the aftermath....

Deceivers, one and all.
Even when they tell US truth, they lie by omission to further their agenda.

Nice job, Carney, making fun of a kid. You don't look that old yourself.
And for the _resident, who garnered a significant percentage of his first term vote on the basis that he was the "hope" for a post-racial America, IT WAS A DAMNED PERTINENT QUESTION.
The press should clamor for a one-on-one between Gabe and Obama, TELEVISED, on race relations in these United States. No freaking way that would ever happen, though.
By comparison, Jimmy Carter looks almost competent now.

When their first response is “ridiculous,” you know there’s something to it.

Funny that Carney defers to Florida authorities for death threats against Zimmerman but the White House had no problem getting all up in Florida's business when it was about Trayvon.

Considering that Obama has involved himself in the case from the beginning, it was a very logical question to ask.

One could conclude there are racists tendencies in the white house.

Considering that Obama has involved himself in the case from the beginning, it was a very logical question to ask. Too bad the lone voice of professionalism in the press corps was a teenage intern. Otherwise a follow up question could have made that very point.

What did you expect him to say? Afterallm, Zimmerman did shoot Obastard’s son!

It was ridiculous in the understandable sense that Obama is a racist, white-hating, Christian-hating, conservative freedom lover-hating, foreigner, no good SOB Muslim.
In that sense.

Well, folks, there you have it: bare-bones Rule of Man brought to you by the would-be fascist Dictator-in-Chief allowed in under the thin disguise of "Hope and Change." (I think someone with much greater ambitions is watching who the Bible prophesies will use the same tactics.)
I've never read "Mein Kampf" but I wonder if Hitler discussed these kind of arbitrary approaches ("we'll justify on our own terms going directly after whoever we want and we'll justify not going after who we don't want").
