Liz Cheney to Run for Senate 4:54 PM, Jul 16, 2013 By DANIEL HALPER
The AP reports:
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) Liz Cheney, daughter of Dick Cheney, says she will challenge Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., next year.
Why not ?
Will she be pro-sodomite “marriage”?
Hot dog! An answer (partially) to one of my daily prayers for this Republic.
She isn’t trying to oust a Democrat, she’s trying to oust a Republican. Are only a few powerful families supposed to control the country?
Is the Republican incumbent more or less conservative than her?
great another homosexual agenda rep running, what is it with all these elitist ruling class families.
Bush, Clintons, guarantee Obama.s wife will run and now the Cheneys.
Is this their way of getting more pro homosexual, anti conservative lot in power?
Is the Republican incumbent more or less conservative than her?
*******************************************************************
Enzi is vastly LESS CONSERVATIVE than Liz Cheney. He’s either a RINO or a near-RINO, depending upon whether you’re grading on a curve.
Then THAT is how we take over the GOP, a few seats at a time.
And she is a mega-RINO. Actually, is there any evidence she is running as a Republican. Based on the race she picked, I doubt it.
The article pointedly doesn’t say she is running as a Republican. If she wanted to run as a Republican, why wouldn’t she picked a race without a Republican incumbent?
She is running as a Republican. This has been in the works for some time. But I thought Enzi was going to retire. Does she figure he needs a nudge?
Running third party is a good way to split the GOP vote and let a Rat in.
“Hes either a RINO or a near-RINO”
And she isn’t?
I’m sure he knew........there’s no surprises in this business. It’s all $$.
You are telling me there isn’t one Republican in Wyoming that can win? Will she bother moving to Wyoming?
Is that really the case, that he’s less conservative than her?
I know he did the Internet tax thing, and the NY Times wrote about her looking to primary him from the right. But I’m looking at his voting record, and it looks pretty darned conservative. Certainly on all the social issues I see. Looks like he’s against any kind of government healthcare initiatives, for lower taxes, strongly against illegal immigration, etc.
Does Liz differ from her father on things like comprehensive immigration reform, which I at least think Dick Cheney came out for, but Enzi opposes?
She has been living in Wyoming. Even if there is a primary, the odds are very strong this remains an R seat.
Oh, I just found something else. Looks like he was among the Gang of Six that was pushing toward healthcare reform?
The NYTimes wrote a big piece, last week or so, about her primarying Enzi. She’s definitely a Republican.
