Several members of New York City's congressional delegation on Monday condemned the acquittal of the man charged with killing Trayvon Martin and urged the Justice Department to intervene.
Reps. Charles Rangel, Hakeem Jeffries, Jerrold Nadler and others bemoaned the Florida jury's failure to convict George Zimmerman in the shooting death of the unarmed Martin, a verdict that has led to widespread protests across the country.

I’ve been waiting for our “illustrious” Mayer Bloombug to bring charges against Zimmerman here in NY.
It’d be in keeping with his personality and behavior so far.
And obviously there’s no problems here in NY needing attention if these dolts can occupy the time of the people of NY with this stuff instead of doing the peoples business.
Yes they can. They do it with regularity. It needs to be stopped. NO DOUBLE JEOPARDY AT ANY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT FOR ANY REASON.
I get so tired of hearing thi shite.. let me complete the sentence:
in the shooting death of the unarmed Martin who was trying to beat Zimmerman to death at the time
I read on another site, the night that Martin attacked Zimmerman, it was 3:00AM and that Martin had a backpack full
of burglary tools but this evidence could not be admitted to the trial. Do you know, if this is true?
TELL THAT TO THE POLICE OFFICERS FROM LOS ANGELES.....
....TRY’M UNTIL SOMEONE GOES TO JAIL
One more reason for conservative states to seceed from the communist/facist/nazi/progressive states. (Like we needed another reason...)
Or, perhaps better, just boot them out. They are the ones that ignore and distort the Constitution. (And NY didn’t really want in anyway, back in the day. They thought they would be better off on their own...)
I guess they polled these Democrats in the local insane asylum. Sure sounds like it.
But then again, the top of the Democrat Party is a perfect example of “collective insanity”.
Rangel - now he’s one truely honest politician. Nadler - check out his business friends.
Nydia - another low-education politico.
Well, that’ s the ROTTEN APPLE for you.
Charlie Rangel:
What a pillar of the community to tell ANY other jurisdiction what to do!!!
Has he ever paid the taxes on his rentals out of the country?
Didn’t he park one of his cars for YEARS—not using it—in a special congressional parking place & not pay for that either?
What a shining example for the black community to follow!!!
Along with Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton.
Dammit to hell.
This is NY CITY not NY State.
Those bastards sure are a stain on our reputation.
It is clear that Trayvon Martin would be alive today if.....””
Trayvon would P{OSSIBLY be alive today IF he hadn’t continued his bad behavior at school & received a 2 week suspension from school. His Mama had to send him to Daddy because she couldn’t watch him closely enough.
Let’s look at the WHOLE chain of events.........Not just the trip to ‘only get Skittles & Iced Tea”..........
“There are more grownups living in Stanford, Florida than there are in the entire state of New Yawk.”
You know nothing of the STATE of New York. If you did you would know that most of it is “red” counties that are full of very conservative people.
We are just out numbered and out voted by the mass of population down in NY City.
Oh, and we don’t talk like that outside that pit NYC. We pronounce our “r”s here. As a matter of fact we sound downright mid-western.
This won’t happen. Saw someone on MSNBC wanting the same done. Won’t happen. This time, the left got smacked down.
Too many NY slugs in Floriduh already. That’s why the state is sinking so fast into the fen of liberalism.
I believe that did happen——several months earlier.
Trayvon’s shady bgrnd could not be brought up at Zim’s trial...but it can be presented at a civil rights action..... should it go forward.
There is no evidence to date of Zimmerman having racist views.
Absolutely. And we should be willing to Dissolve the Union over it.
