Reid aims to silence the minority in the Senate.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is pushing hard to eliminate the filibuster for executive nominations, on the grounds that Republicans have stood in the way too many times and are refusing to confirm qualified nominees. What’s so striking about this reason is that it’s false. President Obama’s success rate with nominees is actually higher than that of his Republican predecessor. Eighty-six percent of Obama’s civilian nominees — including both judicial- and executive-branch appointees — were confirmed in the 112th Congress. In the 111th Congress, his success rate was 82 percent.

Here's hoping Boehner will get this message out. Not holding breath, just hoping.
Very simple, if Reid pulls this then the GOP needs to filibuster everything else that gets put up.
Unfortunately certain traitors like MCcain and Grahamnesty will side with Dems., Rubio on immigration too.
Harry wants to get the camel’s nose under the tent. Once he gets filibuster overturned on this minor issue, he can try to expand it to larger issues, like cloture.
Someday, there will be a GOP majority in Congress (even if we never have a GOP president after immigration/amnesty changes). The Dems won’t like the situation then, but in their unprincipled way, will forget how they created it.
If Reid does this,the Senate GOP should filibuster everything else for the next two years .... or until the rule is changed.

I’m thinking Dingy-harry will be not go through with this. Those dems behind the scenes know this is a double edged sword, that once released will cut both ways.
Oh, Dingy-harry will bluff right up to the door, but won’t turn the handle. This is more about intimidation than immediate results. Nobama and Dems have a long record of hollow threatening and harsh over-reaching “trial balloons”. This could be more about their reactionary base than our reaction.
Not to mention the plethora of imbeciles on the Republican side who are so lame they couldn't win an honest election (sigh)

He doesn’t. What I wanted was for him to “get the message out” that 0bama’s appointments on average are taking less time, not more... to point out the lie.
