If that young black male had just gone home and not played the thug, you POS Mayor - he would be alive today. He started it and unfortunately, it ended in tragedy for him and let’s face it - George too - he has been put through 7 kinds of he** since this happened.
These people have no grasp of the facts of this case, but shoot from the emotional hip.
And do you find it "troubling" that a 36 year old white male was beaten and pushed into traffic to die by four suspected black gang members because he was wearing blue and went to the gas station... in Atlanta?
If Trayvon Martin had taken his skittles and tea and went directly to his father’s house, he would be alive today. Instead, he thought he could teach a “creepy-ass, cracker” a lesson. Unfortunately, he died for his foolishness.
I find it appalling that a slightly sub-18 yr old can believe that he has no limits.
You should worry about the $hithole you manage.....or mismanage to be more accurate.......
The Honorable Mayor is stupid, I think there is “Sum Ting Wong” with where he gets his information.
Politicians shouldn’t be commenting on a jury verdict at all.
I know to never go near Atlanta. Thanks for the heads up.
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is a racist piece of dog poo.
I guess people are supposed to allow dudes to slam our heads against the concrete and just take it.
Kasim Reed reveals himself as a racist to the core.
Don’t try and play the Knock Out Game with armed folks. It doesn’t end well.
Here’s the comments after CBSAtlanta’s story on Reeds statement: (As I told my husband, those women knew...people are fed up and pissed with what is going on...and they weren’t going to play the “race” game.)

Mr. Mayor, if you respect the jury’s verdict then do so. Your statement is anything but respect for their verdict. Unfortunately, it is what I have come to expect from the supposed “leaders” in my community.

how can you disagree with a jury’s verdict when you have no **** idea what went on in the court room you only wish that he would have been found guilty because he is white and that you want him to serve time stand your ground is there for a reason and it need to be respected

Well Mayor, how do you stand on the murder of Paul Sampleton...a black youth murdered by low life black youths, for his toys. Bust a move on a public stance on this, the Paul Sampleton murder, or keep your RACIST MOUTH SHUT!!!!

“This case reminds me why my number one priority as Mayor is public safety. “ Well arent you the politician. You could careless about the people of Atlanta. All you care about is you career. Look no farther than what the police of Atlanta are paid. The streets of Atlanta are currently over run with thugs like Martin and the time is coming to where the people will become the Zimmermans. The people are fed up with it !
If Mayor Reed wishes for blacks to shed their negative stereotypes, then perhaps he might convince his brothers to stop behaving like thugs and become productive, law-abiding citizens. Until that happens, the stereotypes will remain accurate.
I advise workers in Washington Dc to stay off the Green line thru Anacostia next week.
Reed is another enemy. These sick vermin want a race war.
That mayor is a despicable racist POS.
In October I was robbed at gunpoint in Atlanta by three black men. The one with the cheap ass 380 on me was about 14 years old. Mr. Mayor? I never heard a word from your black ass! Thanks prick!
