WASHINGTON — Today the White House announced the nominations of James Costos, an accomplished businessman and current executive at HBO, as the United States Ambassador to Spain, and Rufus Gifford, a former finance official for the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Obama for America, and the Democratic National Committee, as the United States Ambassador to Denmark.

Last week, President Obama also nominated Daniel Baer, the openly-gay Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, to be Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Only gays? Let’s not go overboard - based on a quick search, there are ~130 U.S. Ambassadors at any given time. 6 are homosexual. We hear about them more because the administration and the “tolerant” MSM like to flaunt these appointments, but it’s a stretch to say that he’s only appointing gay ambassadors.

Foisting these ambassadors onto countries to offend their sensibilities, appointing a gay man to head the USAF, whos first act is to hold gay pride events in Afghanistan...no wonder they think we are the Great Satan. Maybe they’re right.

Glad the Dominican Republic is spitting on this. Spain and Denmark are too pathetic to care.

He must have nominated at least a dozen homosexuals to be ambassadors so far. Officially, many were campaign “bundlers”, but I don’t know if the two groups overlap.

The idea shows a little promise: say, creating a homosexual ‘peace corps’, to send tens of thousands of America’s homosexuals to places like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Libya, etc. Tell them to aggressively recruit the locals.

The result could be highly amusing.

We all know that Osama Obama is *absolutely* capable of appointing a pervert ambassador to the Vatican but would never,*ever* appoint such an individual to Saudi Arabia.

I don't know about that - he appointed a gay ambassador to Libya, and they are a Muslim country as well...

Does this idiot not know any one that is not gay qualified to do a job?

Remember all the stories about the way rising Hollywood starlets got their plum assignments by being 'interviewed' on the casting couch?

Maybe Obama has a couch to use for his interviews of queers applying for appointments as ambassadors.

Denmark and Spain? Obama should be asked why he doesn’t send more gay ambassadors to muslim countries.
