Theres no doubt that ElBaradei represents the smallest and least powerful of the main factions supporting big reform in post-Mubarak Egypt the others being Team Muslim Brotherhood and Team Army.

For the Army, ElBaradei is the closest theyve got to a Terry MacAuliffe love him or hate him, he keeps those donors writing checks. US dismay over regulations which prohibit foreign aid to coup-stricken countries will surely abate when its ElBaradei standing beside President Obama in the Rose Garden.

Not to mention his dishonesty during his time at IAEA regarding the Iranians. We don't need a friend of the Iranian regime as PM of Egypt.
Right now his appointment has been put on hold....let's hope it's scrapped.

The other Islamic faction that’s worse than the Brotherhood and joined “the opposition” to bring Morsi down, the Salafis,
cried foul and said they would not support his appointment.
The liberals, progressives like El Baraedei are the smallest faction on the ground in Egypt right now.
They are loved by the media and that’s about it.

ElBaradei tried to defeat W in ‘04 when about 3 weeks before the election he floated a false story that the US had allowed explosives to go missing from Iraqi ammo dumps. Yep, he's a real ‘swell guy’ and a great friend of America.

He’s George Soros’s puppet. Something really really stinks at the moment, and it’s not looking good at all. Funny how Obama was blindsided by all this.

El Baradei? He's a far leftist, anti-American, totally incompetent UN hack.
What could possibly go wrong with this?
