WASHINGTONA high-powered rifle lost in the ATFs Fast and Furious controversy was used to kill a Mexican police chief in the state of Jalisco earlier this year, according to internal Department of Justice records, suggesting that weapons from the failed gun-tracking operation have now made it into the hands of violent drug cartels deep inside Mexico.
Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire. Also killed was one of his bodyguards. His wife and a second bodyguard were wounded.

I say yes, they intended for someone, anyone, to be killed and weapons traced back to US amid cries from the media for more gun control.

Really brings into question the motives of our Administration in distributing guns to cartels and to jihadis through Libya and Syria. Is that where all the ammo and guns supposedly purchased for federal agencies went? They ay it was far more than what our military is stocked with. Just what is the Obama Administration up to and who is it benefitting?

I like how the POS L.A.Times helpfully renames Obunga’s failed attempt to bolster his 90% lie as a “gun tracking” operation.

Obama and Holder's idea of allowing illegal guns to go to Mexico to support the false narrative that Mexican cartel violence is the fault of the US claims another victim.
They do not care how many people die.

An AK-47 shoots a 154gr bullet about 2100fps.
That M91 shoots a 174gr at 2600fps.
I think that’s plenty close to say the AK-47 is high powered if that M91 is.

Well, my point is don’t help the chuckle heads redefine a ruger 10/22 as a high powered assault rifle.
