Just a follow up. She was just interviewed on local conservative talk show and basically said that the cops and the paper have the story incorrect. They blame it on a spill over of a beef these AA women had with another vendor.
The facts are these women assaulted her first then moved on to try and use their 4 year old to steal a bracelet from the other vendor.
In a few more days there might actually be charges. Its Milwaukee after all it has to go through the handwringing mayor, police chief, and media before enough outrage forces them to actually do more than just cite these women for disorderly conduct.
Additionally the AA hot dog vendor who stepped in to defuse the issue was then insulted by the same women as in “stay out of it old man white saxophone paying pitch should be playing that music.

This is Cassandra the one yall have this discussion about. Im a loving caring person I’ve been playing saxophone for over 18 years. It is my life and ill always play!! I played that song for graduation song when does that young and I don’t feel like it is a bad song to play I did not know or realize the lyrics but it shouldn’t matter I should not have been beaten up ladies ladies and I should not of been scrutinized for something my teacher showed me the song as blue brothers.
Im not a creepy a* cracker. Im a young woman following my dreams regaurdless of my race or backround. Saxophone is my life. People in Milwaukee need to wake up and love one another before its too late. I pray for the woman who attacked me and her family. All the know and learned was hate. Clearly the women who beat me up were wrong. They were drunk as heck. I was assaulted mid song. I pushed the old woman after she slapped me for she was coming back with A FOUR YEAR OLD IN HER ARMS STILL. ITS CALLED HATE. NO MATTER WHAT RACE. we shouldnt have to get beat up on streets cuz we wanna play music in a lawful way.
Why have the police not arrested her? Haven’t you asked the detectives?
gotten in contact with detectives inspectors about the situation hopefully some kind of justice will happen now that the county’s involved
