Egyptian security and medical officials say an American has been killed in the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria during clashes between supporters and opponents of Egypt's embattled President Mohammed Morsi.

Alexandria security chief Gen. Amin Ezz Eddin told Al-Jazeera TV that an American was killed Friday in Sidi Gabr Square while photographing the battles between opposition youth and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails.

A medical official told The Associated Press the American was wounded by gunshots and died at the hospital.

Six Egyptians have been killed in days of clashes ahead of nationwide protests Sunday demanding Morsi's removal.

The State Department said Friday that Americans should defer nonessential travel to Egypt, citing the uncertain security situation. It also said it would allow nonessential staff and the families of personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo to leave Egypt until conditions improve.

They have enough money to get through August. After that there will be little food of fuel. In 1980 there were about 40 million Egyptians today there are 80 million. Not a good situation.

I wish you could go. Egypt is an amazing place.

Much less than 75% for Morsi. I believe it was in the low 50s in a stolen election.

50% for MB and 25% for the Salafists. I'd be surprised if the Salafists were demonstrating against Morsi.

I believe your numbers are for the parliament seats, not the presidency.

The majority of Egyptians are not MB or Salafis but wanted to get rid of Mubarak and wanted the dreaded “CHANGE!” Hence, Morsi and ,NOT Shafiq, and the rest is history.

This is Hillary Clinton. She was the worst Secretary of State in our history—She turned Egypt, Libya and Tunisia over to the American Haters while obama ditched and ran from Iraq ( now a disaster) and Afghanistan (watch this). Hillary doesn’t understand the difference between a Sunni or a Shiite. She is all about hillary. She will lose in 2016. We just meed a real conservative.

I'd like to know what he was doing pointing anything at active combatants. That's just asking for it. Whether they mistake a camera for a weapon, or whether they correctly identify it as a camera but decide you are or might be working for the enemy, they still smoke you.

...and this after America foolishly used Egypt as her kingpin ally in the Middle East!
Another Iran in the making.
What have the Israelis been saying since the 1970’s?
America’s ONLY, RELIABLE, STABLE, DEMOCRATIC, WESTERN, FREE-ECONOMY, SHARED VALUES partner in that region...

When will we learn?

Well, this weekend we may find out.

I admire the Egyptians who are standing now against Morsi and his Islamic tyranny. I wish them well for the sake of them and their families...and for Israel...and ultimately for our own.

Unbelievably tragic that we have such blatant traitors and treacherous SOBs running our own government. The time may well come...and soon...where our own tree of liberty will have to be watered as Jefferson explained.

‘Unprecedented exodus’ out of Cairo....

Exceeds that of 2011! Egypt’s going to get nasty Sunday.

Cairo’s main airport was packed with departing passengers, and all flights leaving for Europe, the US and the Gulf were fully booked, officials were quoted as saying.

The officials - who spoke on condition of anonymity - described the ‘exodus as unprecedented,

the Associated Press reports.

These cornballs (ZObama and Kerry) actually beliebve that if Israel can be defanged, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Libya and Iran will all become peace-loving nations.

That’s literally what they think. They’re actually that ignorant.

I think their motives are more nefarious than that.
there are two camps in this world right now.
one, that includes Obama, George soros, and liberal American jews, who want to see the destruction of Israel because they’re not religious and don’t believe Israel holds any special place, and in fact is a cause of the worlds problems. (soros is on record saying that)

the other camp consists of evangelicals and conservative jews. they look at the survival of the state of Israel as fufulling prophecys.

if you look at world events through that prism, things start to make sense (eg bush invading Iraq was for the benefit of Israel).

that’s how the sides line up, that’s why a muslim like Obama can collaborate with a jew like david axlerod, they are of like minds.
