Every democrat voted for it
pure evil traitors
A legitimate “bipartisan” bill would have some number of democrats in opposition.
Bipartisan means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out. - George Carlin
Ya. Not very modern if you don’t enforce the laws in existence. Time to create more new laws that won’t be enforced. That makes sense. A lot of sense.
They are probably counting on the House the make it unpalatable for the Pres and Senate and save their skins.
Heller voted for it. I thought he might help me expose Harry Reid, but now it’s clear he is just another water boy.

I thought the last I heard was Rubio wasn’t going to vote for it due to not securing the border fast enough. I think his career has taken a big hit if he remains a Republican, that is.

I’ve already given my Congressman and ear and eyefull.
We’ll see what happens when this gets to the House.
That every democrat voted for it is immediate cause for concern. And, consider the name of the bill:
“Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act “
Because modern-day bills are actually intended to do exactly the opposite of what they are named, this is very very worrisome.
“Border Security”
...meaning, that you can cross unimpeded and no longer annoyed by those pesky gringos along the southern border, at least in the south-to-north direction. On the other hand, citizens attempting to leave the country will be first checked to see if they have overdue library books, parking tickets, unpaid taxes, child support outstanding, tuition loans, and so on first. Any attempt to abscond with more than $200 (i.e., “Wealth Belonging To The United States”) will be dealt with severely. So, there’s your security.
“Economic Opportunity”
...for everyone except lower- and lower-middle class American citizens and those persons and companies who cater to them. Meaning, just about everyone who is presently a US citizen.
“Immigration Modernization Act”
...meaning, that those time-consuming and impossible-to-decipher rules have been replaced with “Hey! You’re In!”.
How about the “import 100 million poor 3rd world leftists so that democrats can turn the USA into a socialist/communist state Act”. that’s what it is.

Wicker voted for the Corker amendment, with Schumer and his boys.
Then he voted against the bill on the final cloture vote.
Trying to have it both ways.
