Wonder if obama will send fighters to intercept and force it to land here?
Wouldnt be surprised.
Kook alert!
On the side of strict protection of privacy are people like Sens. Lee and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and Matt Drudge, and liberal figures like filmmaker Michael Moore and Glenn Greenwald, who has broken many of the stories relating to the leaks.
The other side those defending surveillance practices is President Barack Obama (he shifted his stance as president) John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Joe Klein, Jeffrey Toobin, Charles Krauthammer.
Waste of money. One bullet would do it
I would, if I were the pilot, with a bunch of people on board in addition to Snowden, with no beef with the USA, just play chicken. They might radio to him, they have gone hot, “turn around, you will be shot down”, but Obama hasnt the b*lls to do it and he knows he risks impeachment for pulling such a stunt such as shooting down what will probably be a commercial airliner filled with other passengers. Nope, as the pilot, I would just keep on my sweet way to Quito and flip them the bird. In international aviation there is not a thing they can do about it. Obama would never issue the order.
Did some research. There are no direct flights from moscow to either Quito nor Guayaquil. The closest international flight would be via Amsterdam, the netherlands. So i guess he’ll get a special purpose direct flight on either a russian or ecuadorian government airliner.
If that happens, maybe Jarrett would let him dust off his military uniform!
Brave Sir Robin Obama? Mess with one of Putin's aircraft? Ha! Not likely, not ever.
