Former U.S. National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden will fly from Moscow to Cuba on Monday and then plans to go to Venezuela, a source at the Russian airline Aeroflot said on Sunday.
The source said Snowden was already on his way to Moscow from Hong Kong and would leave for Havana within 24 hours.
The South China Morning Post also reported that Snowden had left Hong Kong for Moscow and that his final destination might be Ecuador or Iceland. The WikiLeaks anti-secrecy website said Snowden was heading for an unnamed "democratic nation".
The flight to Moscow prompted speculation that Snowden might remain in Russia, whose leaders accuse the United States of double standards on democracy and have championed public figures who challenge Western governments.
But Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said he was unaware of Snowden's plans and the Foreign Ministry declined immediate comment on whether he had asked for asylum.

I’m with ya! I liked what he did exposing the feds for spying on US! But, not tickled about him heading to VENEZUELA?!!!! Something about this whole Snowden affair stinks to high heaven...
This guy is operating against our interests.
I never did think his story rang true.
I don’t even think this guy is an operative.
He is just a pathetic attention whore.
Disinformatzia. I’m still guessing he lands in Iceland.
Riding on any airline that far and long should be punishment enough for any crime.
Agreed.
I dont even think this guy is an operative. He is just a pathetic attention whore.
"This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility," Obama told Medvedev when the pair met in Seoul."
First Manning, and now this guy. I don't think it's a mistake.
Red China, Russia and now Venezuela?
Sounds like a traitor to me!
I doubt this is his actual route, or his final destination, not to say there won’t be an aircraft following this route.
I suspect he would know how to continually make fools of the NSA.
Not that that is particularly hard to do.
More evidence that Snowden is a Red Chinese agent.
What country is Obama an agent of?
All desperation to avoid acknowledging how many foreign nationals are doing the exact same thing as Snowden every day because they work throughout our defense industries.
A few years back a Chinese national was accused of stealing secrets from Los Alamos national labs where he worked. It turned out that he wasn’t guilty but he shouldn’t have been working there.
Anyone who thinks we actually have any national secrets is a fool. Our defense industries are full of cheap labor from God knows where. All of our former state department officials end up in the globalist think tanks like the international crisis group. The only secrets our government is concerned about being exposed are the ones being exposed to us.
This Snowden crap is like bad soviet propaganda. Snowden is a nobody who is just an indicator of the storm of leaks that is coming because we’ve created these people by the thousands.
Sounds like a traitor to me!
yep, America can be proud we didn't elect him.
My guess is he will likely end up neutralized..
Yup, like bad Soviet propaganda. He’ll end up in Iceland.
Will he disapear into the unknow triangle.
Nope,sorry....this is where any admiration I might have had for him up until now ends.If you flee to China, the USSR,Iran,North Korea,Venezuela or any other enemy of this nation you’re an enemy of mine. It’s just that simple. And a stopover in the USSR? I wonder who’ll debrief him *there*? I say shoot the filthy bast*rd.
There is no USSR. Hasn't been since 1992.
Those Americans (like Paul) who stick up for Islamic terrorists will support Snowden no matter what he does, but most Americans see Snowden for what he really is.
