The final episode left a lot of questions that could have been answered in a movie that will never be made. Will Tony be indicted? Will Silvio pull through? What will happen to Patsy Parisi, who ran away during the gunfight where Silvio was badly wounded? With Phil Leotardo gone, who takes over in New York?

That was my first thought. Chris is suffering from the sweats tonight.

My mostly fit brother died of a heart attack at 42. It happens.

But Gandolfini looked like he indulged.

Funny; I just read an article this month where Chase & James were interviewed about a possible movie & James said that he & Chase had thrown around some ideas. James said he would do a movie if Chase asked....first time there’s been ANY talk about a movie. Then this:(

Greta Van Dieselfuel has declared Gandolfini’s death was due to overweight, an object lesson for all obese people (I added the seond part).

My favorite quote from the great philosopher, Tony Soprano:
Whaddya gonna do?

Funny. I was just thinking of that same quote from early in the Sopranos where Tony is talking about his Mother's death; "whaddya gonna do?"

It answers a lot about the final episode. Now that he’s dead he would have to have been killed eating his onion rings. Before he would have survived. Now I just think there will be no rumored movie.

Coincidentally, today is Nancy Marchand's birthday. She would have been 85.

Toward the end of The Soprano’s I read an interview where he said one of the reasons he wanted off the show was because he was in so many scenes he worked twelve hour days with a lot of inactivity, waiting around on the set, and ate what ever was available which usually wasn’t good for you. He said it was taking a toll on his health. You can also watch the series from beginning to end and see his weight go up and up and he looks worn out by the last episode.

They go in three’s so there’s probably going to be two more real soon.

Obama and McCain come to mind

Well, if you gotta go, Taormina, Sicily is the place to do it.

Absolutely beautiful place.

The film festival in the Greek amphitheater is pretty incredible too.
