Obamacare will share personal health info with federal, state agencies
Washington Examiner ^ | JUNE 17, 2013 | PAUL BEDARD

A new rule issued late Friday requires state, federal and local agencies as well as health insurers to swap the protected personal health information of anybody seeking to join the new health care program that will be enforced by the Internal Revenue Service.

Personal health information, or PHI, is highly protected under federal law, but the latest ruling from the Department of Health and Human Services allows agencies to trade the information to verify that Obamacare applicants are getting the minimum amount of health insurance coverage they need from the health "exchanges."

The ruling, explained on pages 72-73 of the book-thick guidance, does not mention any requirement that applicants first OK the release of their PHI.

[[Even your typical federal employee knows that federal agency management will instantly misuse any medical information they receive. ]]

NY ALREADY IS abusing it- they are demanding health care providers turn over patient info, so that they can see if patients have EVER sued, even if briefly, any anti-depressents, physchotics, anxiety medications, and NY IS usign htis info to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens with NO trial and NO formal diagnosis by a professional psychiatrist/cologist

ObamaKKKare is a license to turnloose the fascists and the commies both on your medical records. How utterly stupid of people to vote for that.

I hope nobody is the least bit surprised about this. Some of us have been predicting this would happen since the day nobamacare became official.

Just a matter of time.

If you haven’t, read George Orwell’s book 1984. A chilling, dead on description of what’s happening to our poor country.

If it was good enough for the C.C.C.P. it’s good enough for us.

You can imagine this scene. This cynical guy shows up at a new doctor’s office. The doctor asks sixty questions, where the new patient gives all scripted answers. He’s never been vaccinated for anything because he grew up in the Yukon territory. He grew up eating only vegetables and wild game. He is only allergic to loose women and Dr Pepper.

Once he finishes with that new doctor....he starts to canvas the region for another new doctor in three months...giving him sixty completely different answers. Repeating this over and over.

Then imagine a thousand guys like this in just one state doing that. It would corrupt the system in a mere ten years. Kids would do it. College kids would do it. Everyone would start to provide fake data. We might even have to build a annex onto the Utah facility in a decade, because of all this new stuff.
