RE: Caterpillar Inc. is no longer giving money to the Boy Scouts because the organization discriminates against homosexuals
Didn’t Caterpillar get the memo? The BSA ALLOWS Gay Scouts now.

This is a pet peeve of mine, and understanding that it is a pet peeve . . . why can't you signal to the reader that you are snipping the portions of the article you've snipped? It used to be done with ellipsis points, or adjoining brackets, for example "[]".
I guess I'm just old-school.

Continue digging your dirt - no one needs you ‘buying the BSA’ on your conditional strings.

It has never been about getting gay kids into scouting. It has always been about getting gay leaders so as to destroy the organization.
Much like gay marriage is designed to destroy marriage as an institution.

Instead, spokeswoman Rachel Potts said, the company decided to cut off funding while reviewing a request for $25,000 that came in last year from a local group in Illinois. That decision was never announced publicly or communicated to the Boy Scouts of America, only to the local group, she said. But she added that the Boy Scouts' policy that continues to bar homosexual adults from working in the organization is "discriminatory."
Rachel Potts must be one of the first among the low information voter crowd. She does not know the difference between civil rights and natural law. Or she thinks that civil rights trumps natural law.
Same sex marriage is a transient popular culture that will not stand the test of time against natural law. Pretending that deviant sexual behavior is normal will not make it so.
The company she represents has to be smarter than that!

Boys Scouts National Council sowed the seeds of its destruction when it started taking corporate money. Sure, that cash provided nice jobs, good perks and nice offices, but people get used to it, and when Intel, Caterpillar or Bank of America says you have to follow the gay-lobby, of course people will fall into line.
As I understand, the local councils are all self-funding anyway - so they should simply tell the national council to cram it, and start a new national council.

Caterpillar will be having visitations/correspondence with the IRS (if not already), as they are anti-Union, and a Target for sure.

I hope everyone involved in the BSA fiasco gets the lesson here: never cave on your principles, because to the people that hate your principles, it's never enough. BSA allowed homosexual scouts and companies pounced even harder on them. BSA compromised, and it got them nothing.
So to other groups that are being pressured the way BSA was pressured: don't sell your soul. Go down fighting rather than give in. Because no compromise is ever enough to feed the beast. It always wants more.

Don’t the Girl Scouts prohibit male leaders? Or is it OK for a 26 year old hetro man to take a group of teenage girls out camping now?
The issue of homo men and boys is no different from hetro men and girls.
