You're painting an absurdly broad brush there which is very disappointing to me. The actual percentage of priests implicated in this (and even 1% is too high) was under 5% in the heyday.

That can’t be true...see, in many of the conversations I’ve had with the BSA policy change defenders, they state over and over again the majority of offenders are “straight”, married, white males.
