Dempsey is a disgrace to the uniform! His nose is so far up Obama’s a$$ that I am surprised he hasn’t suffocated.

If the special Forces were not told to stand down, what did they do to rescue our Embassy people?

What does the General think of the rape tapes?

What about leaving Americans behind AND ON TV being
gang raped to send MANPADs to al Qaeda?

Which side is the General on?
The US Constitution OR Obama arming al Qaeda and Ikhwan?

...orders for the special forces to remain in Tripoli

And that's different from "stand down" how, exactly?

A four star general quibbling after Americans were murdered in Benghazi. This shameful behavior would not be tolerated from a Private. What a disgrace.

This is one of the saddest days in our nation’s history. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs quibbling. Unbelievable. It makes me want to puke.

Heard that this is somewhat true in terms of the mission was to protect Tripoli based facilities since ‘the attack’ may be coordinated and designed to draw away Tripoli-based forces.

But this also distracts from where there were very explicit stand down orders - In Spain, Italy and Germany.

International Crisis Group’s “In Pursuit of Peace” Award Dinner

SECRETARY CLINTON: Thank you. (Applause.) Oh, my goodness. Well, if it ever were a secret. (Laughter.)

Thank you, Marc, and thanks to all of you for being part of this evening to support such an extraordinary, important organization that is relied upon certainly across the world, and that includes the State Department.

I want to thank Marc and Frank Giustra. I want to thank Louise for her leadership and everyone on the board; the chairman, an old friend, Tom Pickering; Wolf Blitzer, thank you for giving of your time; and all the generous supporters here tonight. Because for more than 15 years, you have helped policy-makers see the world more clearly and respond to conflict more effectively. So I thank you.[...]

Obama’s Benghazi Investigator: An Iran Sympathizer

[...]The problem is that Pickering has ties to the pro-Iran Islamist front group known as the National Iranian American Council (NIAC). NIAC lost an important defamation case in federal court last month in which it unsuccessfully argued the group was not a tool of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pickering is a member of the advisory board of NIAC. He was Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs from May 1997 through the end of 2000, according to a 2009 report titled “Rise of the Iran Lobby,” by Clare M. Lopez of the Center for Security Policy. He’s also vice chairman of international consultancy, Hills & Co., and co-chairman of the board of directors of the International Crisis Group (whose executive committee includes George Soros). [...]

State Department creates own board to look at Libya security query (the fox and the hen-house)

One of the State Department’s accountability review board’s key tasks will be to probe why the office of Patrick Kennedy, undersecretary of state for management, rejected requests for more diplomatic security in Libya in the weeks leading up to the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

Mr. Kennedy, a career diplomat whose portfolio includes being the top security officer, signed the memo Oct. 1 that set up the review board.

In addition, the State Department said Tuesday that Mr. Kennedy played a role in selecting members of the board, which will be led by former Ambassador Thomas Pickering. And later Tuesday, the State Department put out a revised timeline that abandoned all claims, which the Obama administration had been making since the earliest days, that the attack was related to protests against a film that mocks Muhammad, Islam’s prophet.

Since the review board was set up, information has surfaced in the news media on crucial decisions Mr. Kennedy made before the attack that killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

“There’s documentary evidence that requests came back to diplomatic security and Undersecretary Kennedy rejected them,” Larry Johnson, a former CIA officer and State Department counterterrorism official, told The Washington Times.

“What is at issue here, this board is set up to review all of the decisions that were made prior to the attack on 9/11 that reduced security for the U.S. mission in Libya. Kennedy shouldn’t have had anything to do with this,” Mr. Johnson said. “He should have completely recused himself from the process.”

Army Lt. Col. Andy Wood, a Green Beret who led a site security team in Libya, told CBS News that he and others had requested more security, but State Department officials in Washington turned them down and pulled them out of the country, along with a six-member force of elite security guards....

CAIR & NIAC share the same publicist - David Fenton - the David Fenton of the ALAR scare, Milk Hormone scare, and lots more about him around the web.

Hillary Clinton stated publicly at an International Crisis Group (ICG) award dinner that Thomas Pickering was “an old friend”. Soros, Pickering, and many more notables belong to that same group.

Maybe “Republicans” have done their homework and can see what an incestuous relationship they all have with each other. There were top people in the State Department who said they weren’t even questioned.

“They weren’t told to stand down. A ‘stand down’ means don’t do anything,” he said. “They were told that the mission they were asked to perform was not in Benghazi, but was at Tripoli airport.”

A distinction without a difference.

Change the order they were given to “do 10,000 jumping jacks instead of going to Benghazi” to see the ludicrous nature of this bit of semantics.

This is so ridiculous. We the people need to go up to the SOB Generals and place a luger at the temple and threaten to pull the trigger if they do not tell the truth. When done cut off the testicles so that they are marked as ballless bastards. It is time to waterboard their backsides. Or take them to DC and literally shove their entire head up Obama’s backside. Maybe these ways will get to the bottom of what happened. The Generals are nothing but traitors

This is a bit stupifying considering, if I recall correctly, that it was the NAVY SEALS who were told, not once, but twice to stand down and they disobeyed those orders to try and rescue Chris Stevens and the other Americans at the compound. That is why they are dead.

EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

"Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11."

Dempsey mot only lied, he didn't even have the right inot, time, or place.

Add to that that the ditz actually cakked PastorTery Jones on the tekephne about the stupid video and you have not just a liar, but an idiot.

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.

So much wrong was going on there, but all this denying and twisting of logic points directly to a cover-up. Perhaps a story Yahoo! ran two days ago about the CIA being concerned because they found SA-7 handbooks in Mali is where the cover-up comes from. Knowing that shoulder operated missiles that can take down a commercial airliner is in the hands of Islamic terrorists should scare all of us who fly. I can see why why Obama would want that news covered up. Should a plane be shot down with one of these missiles, Obama should take complete blame as it was his idiotic policy in Libya that allowed so many weapons to go to terrorists.
