Vice President Joe Biden praised former Vice President Al Gore, who was present during a fundraiser for Massachusetts Senate Candidate Ed Markey, asserting that Gore had actually won the the 2000 presidential election.
With characteristic hyperbole, Biden introduced the former Vice President while praising his political career.
“This man was elected president of the United States of America,” Biden said according to the pool report. “No, no, no. He was elected president of the United States of America. But for the good of the nation, when the bad decision in my view was made, he did the right thing for the nation.”
Biden, a potential 2016 candidate for president, praised Gore’s decision to accept the Supreme Court’s decision and walk away from the presidency.

No liberal who is still in disbelief about the 2000 election ever admits that Nixon won 1960 and took the higher ground in not putting the nation through what BOTH Gore AND Kerry did (Bush never did get to deliver an election night victory speech).

Al Franken was SELECTED, NOT ELECTED.
He manufactured victory and destroyed legitimate votes.
Another of the stolen seats that was necessary to reach the 60 seat Senate that pushed through Obamacare.
The national popular vote was only 0.51% in favor of Mr. Gore (half a percent). It did not include many outstanding mail in ballots (that would not have affected the electoral votes) across the nation. It did not include allegations of possible vote fraud (that would not have affected the electoral votes).
If we went to a popular vote victory, we would still be recounting ballots nationwide in the 2000 vote.
I think this is intentional....continue to divide the nation. Bring up issues and past events that divide us, not unite us.

Demos stole that seat in the senate. They kept finding more and more and more votes until they could say Franken won.
If not for stealing this one seat, obamacare wouldn’t be law.
We whine, and rightfully so, about the the poor choices Republicans have running for president, but one look at the Democrat offerings, and the Republican Party appears to be trying. Gore, Kerry, Obama, with a half-wit like Biden as VP, represent the radical left’s best political efforts and brain power. Put all for of them together in a closet, and it is unlikely IQ level would rise to room temperature. The rest of the world can’t help but look at us, and know we are over.
Actually, I believe SCOTUS has been wrong on a lot of decisions and is the number one reason for erosion of most of our freedoms that are supposed to guaranteed by the Constitution.

That’s my take as well. I think Bush really won the popular vote, but itvwipl never be known because of all the states like California, that threw away their absentee ballots because they wouldn’t have made a difference in where the states electoral votes would have gone. Assuming prior trends for Presidental absentee ballots (favoring GOP candidates) counting the uncounted ballots in CA alone would have given Bush the national pop vote.

Ok Joe - I’ll agree that the Court made a mistake with the decision of Gore vs. Bush if you agree that the Court made a mistake with Obamacare!
