The party has an outside chance of winning the five or six seats it needs to retake control, but needs to find top-tier recruits in several states and is running out of time to do so. ....Here are five states where the party needs to land strong candidates to broaden the battleground and have a hope of winning back the Senate.

Here in Michigan Terri Land has apparently announced for the senate. She’s a standard issue moderate republican former secretary of state.

Personally if its going to be an establishment candidate I think I would prefer Candace Miller who has at least shown some flashes of “conservative extremism” in the past like calling to exclude illegals from the census.

My ideal would be Cardiologist, Rob Steele.

Add Tennessee to that list. Sending Lamar Alexander back is like sending a moderate Dhimmocrat. I’m still hopeful a strong challenger will step forward for the primary.

Good luck with that:

Press Reporter: “So Mr. Smith, I see you are running against Congresswoman Waters. Well lookie here. You visited WWW.BigBoobs 113 times last year. I sure would hate to see that little piece of information get out to the public. Oh no, I can’t tell you how I got the information.....anonymous source. Good luck with your campaign.”

Meanwhile, here in Virginia, the sainted Mark Warner will cruise to reelection with only token opposition.

I for one will NOT vote for Alexander.

If I must, I will cast my vote for Mr. Mickey Mouse, and if he wins we will have a better congress critter!!!

:-)

If Dr. Steele is alright with you, I think he will be worth a look. I received an e-mail from him, feeling out what his level of support may be. Looks like a positive response is in the offing.

You can check out his comments on current events on his twitter page. He’s not a big twitter talker but he’s saying all the right things.

“I will cast my vote for Mr. Mickey Mouse”

Please keep us up-to-date on the Mouse ‘14 campaign. Is he accepting donations? What is the website of Mouse for Senate?

Are you going to be going door-to-door or holding a house party?
